ROUND 15
BYE 'BEFORE THE GOODBYE'! This is very important, ok? This was originally to be the first single for 'Britney' and it was an EXTREMELY advanced production for it to be released in 2001. While I agree with the choice to go ahead with 'Slave 4 U', it should have been the second or third single. Though, this album is stellar. I think it's safe to say either S4U or BTG could be released today to rave reviews in comparison to the rest of the album. 'BTG' was even featured as Rolling Stone Magazine's "Song from the future", a column that quoted it as a song that they could see the pop landscape at 10 years from now, making this a song to perfectly fit the pop scene of 2011/2012, which seems pretty dead on, tbh. 17. I Love Rock n' Roll 16. That's Where You Take Me 15. Boys ( The Co-Ed Remix) 14. When I Found You 13. I Run Away 12. Anticipating 11. Overprotected (Darkchild Remix) 10. What It's Like To Be Me 09. Bombastic Love 08. Boys 07. Let Me Be 06. I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman 05. Cinderella 04. Lonely 03. Before The Goodbye |

SLAVE FOR THE WIN.
It is the sound of a child/teen sensation that showed the world that the crossover was possible. Following the trend from Brit's generation was CHRISTINA with Dirrty. Now look at all of them trying their hardest to follow the same format. I see you Miley, Demi, Selena. But, atleast they all credit her as their idol. But, let's not remove the weight that this was a huge feat for someone that started off as a Mickey Mouse club member. PLUS THE BEAT + BREATHY VOCALS + VIDEO. It was basically the overall rough draft for Brit's signature sound. |

'I'm A Slave 4 U'
'Overprotected' was always one of my VERY favourite Britney tracks. It's flawless! Really under appreciated amongst her discography I feel. <3 |

I would've personally like I Run Away, When I Found You and That's Where You Take Me to placed higher but overall I'm very pleased. I mean it's a strong album which manages to bring together various different sounds of the 2000 music landscape, successfully.
I'm just glad they at least included the tracks that were discarded to make way for the Crossroads material. |

Slave to win obv.
I'm not really keen on the results tbh. You continue to underrate "Cinderella", but I'm glad that "Before The Goodbye" had its time to shine! |

I mean top 5 for a non single on an album that released 7 singles, is a great result.
Lonely, Cinderella and Before The Goodbye should have taken place over Boys, ILRNR and the Overprotected remix. |
