I have only played the first Assassin's Creed set in Jerusalem but its a brilliant game.
I do wish it was less linear though, and there was also dialogue with random people everywhere like in many RPG games, but I suppose assassins creed is about the assassinations more. Really like the historical setting, the nice scenery and the jumping about on the rooftops and the hiding system.
Must get another Assassins Creed game!
You would enjoy 2 and Brotherhood. 2 is still linear but never gets boring the way 1 does as it has a lot better a story, while Brotherhood isn't linear at all, although a bit more RPG. If Renaissance Italy is a time period you're interested in it would be fab, it has GORGEOUS scenery and the Florentine Cathedral is near enough a perfectly accurate representation.
I liked the second part and Brotherhood.
The next targets are Syndicate and Unity.
A lot of people couldn't get on with Unity and it had major issues originally but it's ok although easily the worst in the series. Rogue was the far better game and is often overlooked. Syndicate is much better than Unity.
Haven't played Origins yet.
My list would be
01 2
02 Black Flag
03 Brotherhood
04 1st game
05 Rogue
06 3 (I don't get the hate for it)
07 Liberation
08 Syndicate
09 Revelations
10 Unity
I've played every Assassin's Creed game and loved them all, I must be one of the very fortunate people to not have many glitches on Unity as I had no problem playing that!
I'm stuck on Brotherhood. Not literally, they're not particularly hard games but it's quite a large game and there's a lot to do and yet I'm currently bored of the style. Everything beyond seems like it's not worth my time to do the same thing again, Revelations and 3, which I actually played for a bit seemed a bit yawnworthy.
Though I did pick up Black Flag when it was free a month back and may give that a whirl in the future as that's supposed to be the good one of the later lot.
They are getting even BIGGE4
I think they overestimate how much we want to play Assassins Creed...
I have deleted the new one, to reinstall it to do an infinite money glitch that was patched with 1.05. It is now 1.10 xD
You duplicate the items as Aya, either weapons or trinkets, and then you have an infinite amount as Bayek. You can then use the £ on repeatable skills in the skill tree to up your damage by insane amounts. I'll let y'all know if it works as just left it to install tonight.
Black Flag was free?! I think I only have it for Xbox. An amazing one.
1. Origins
2. Syndicate
3. Black Flag
4. Brotherhood
5. 2
6. Revelations
7. Black Flag Spin Off
8. III
It works, but it takes aaages and you have to backup your save. What an arse on. Still hasn't worked fr me. For some the rng clicks after 2 fights :/
Ok so I got it to work.
You have to be on patch 1.03 or lower, so with a physical cd offline, reinstalled if needs be, and in the final Aya level, you have to keep restarting, by drowning or in fire - NOT by reset mission - until you pick up the EXACT SAME, level, type, name, loot from enemies. This will dupe 9.9 million.
However, it takes AGES to sell them, you have to be offline all the time, and buying experience, 1000 for 1000 gil, takes even longer as you cannot turbo you X button to do it. Experience is 20k per level up at lv40 too :/ One exp point a level to upgrade... Waste of time.
Apparently, you can end up one-shotting a war elephant, the strongest enemy of the game.
I realised as doin it however that I had no need to do that, seeing as I have 100% and Platinum
They still have Egyptian god bosses released, though, with special weapons, and the faster I beat them, the better I suppose, although wasting time on upgrading for quicker fights would still = the same amount of time spent, and I have the game set n Easy mode anyway The money also gets you all the legendaries ... but I usually use the same ones, and there is no New Game Plus, and I'm not paying for the Season Pass after paying FFXV's then realising the game is anyway
I can't find all the Papyrus loot, as I glitched the 1.0 version of the game with the more than 9 million weapons and also from buying so many legendaries and rare loot, then same things as you get from the papyrus, anyway Seeing as it is VERY boring to do it, and I have the Platinum, it's probably a good thing I don't have to do it anyway.
What is Rogue??
Wait, one of the two spin offs, along with Unity, I didn't play, but I don't fancy it after the YUUGE BIGLY game of Origins I did to 100%
Ha, then I missed two major installments then withoot realising
Because it was so buggy and cae with no fanfare and just screenshots of glitches, I thought Unity was just a side game, and rogue was very cheap and again came with no fanfare, so assumed it was another spin-off, and the jump was Black Flag - Syndicate.
I'll have to get this one then tbh, but not for a while.
Rogue is one of the best games in the series. Far better than Unity which came out at the same time and in terms of the plot it's hugely important for the North America story and as a lead in to Unity
Anyone playing this?
I've started with Unity in late 2016 and have since played Syndicate and the stunning Origins.
Odyssey has just been announced for this year, set in Ancient Greece, and I am extremely excited as I love the Alexandria section in Origins.
When I got my upgraded computer a couple of years ago I started playing through them slowly, whenever I felt like playing some AC. As evidence of my pace and ease of getting bored with the same sort of thing, I finished Brotherhood a couple of days ago (something I'm not sure I did back in the day, while I definitely beat 1 and 2 back in the day). Haven't gotten far in any of the other games so from now on it'll be new stuff.
Interesting with Odyssey, I feel they are going on the right track of making it a historical tour series because they can't really do anything else.
