Hopefully they can keep getting streaming points to bring up the sales totals. They will be low but someday something might take off and they will gain good sales.

"The Collection" has been removed from Spotify for some unknown reason, and this means that quite a few of their songs are "greyed out" i.e. can't be played... including I Think We're Alone Now
  Some Kind of Miracle (Original) Life Got Cold (Original) Don't Want You Back Love Bomb Everything You Ever Wanted History Loving Is Easy Nobody But You The Crazy Life Why Do It Dog Without a Bone Blow Your Cover She It's Your Dynamite I Think We're Alone Now + all the Tangled Up Live album Mess. I hope it's just a temporary mistake. If not... what gives, Universal/Polydor? Show some love to Girls Aloud and tidy up their download/streaming catalogue! These other songs have already been unavailable for years... Theme to St. Trinian's Teenage Dirtbag Money On My Way to Satisfaction Grease Stay Another Day Singapore Sacred Trust Hanging on the Telephone On a Round and a lot of their remixes. |

Fingers crossed  The Collection has not been brought back yet. If this didn't happen on purpose and the label just hasn't noticed yet, it makes me wonder why certain releases become unavailable. A lot of their releases were digitised when iTunes began (lots of singles including remixes/B Sides) but most of them became unavailable a few years ago for unknown reasons.  Technically Walk This Way came off a few years ago too - it's only available to stream via some random compilations. It's a bit frustrating if it's the case that Universal doesn't care to make sure that Girls Aloud have their full catalogue online. |

The Collection has returned!
I wish they’d taken the opportunity to look at other problems with their catalogue online. Also weirdly a few weeks ago the tag for Sexy turned into “Sexy! No No No. ..” (with a gap)

For some unknown reason, if you search “Girls Aloud” on iTunes, none of the studio albums, The Collection or singles show up on their page, it’s literally only Ten that appears. However if you search something more specific, such as Girls Aloud Sound of the Underground, that will make that album come up as a result. I wonder what’s going on?

I don't pay much attention to the 'This Is Girls Aloud' Spotify playlist but I have noticed today that a few of the SOTU Deluxe tracks have been added:
Don't Want You Back On a Round Sacred Trust Grease Hopelessly Devoted to You Some Kind of Miracle - Illicit Mix Not sure which songs were taken away to make space for them! Although Long Hot Summer isn't on the list
