One of the stand out voices of the start of this millennium, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s peak came in 2000 thanks to a #1 feature on Spiller’s Groovejet and then several solo hits followed shortly afterwards, along with a few dance features which I’ve documented here;

Which dance producers would you like to see her feature with in the future?

A truly wonderful vocalist, and a shame that she doesn’t have more hits to her name as a featured artist, but I will always look back with fondness on one of the best British dance vocalists of this 21st century. Here’s my ratings;

Sadly I don’t hold out much hope on many more features to come, but there could still be a couple left for her to record in the future. It was tricky picking a producer that would work well for her voice, but I’ve selected Martin Solveig and Pep & Rash as potential artists for Sophie to work with soon.
