This feels very... strange to applaud like its an achievement or groundbreaking gender norms.
Ultimately he's covering Vogue because he was offered it. Plenty of celebs less gender-conforming day to day, not just for performance aesthetic purposes, could have actually broken this barrier if they'd been offered. |

Yet nobody else has been offered it and Harry was given the opportunity, over anybody else. It says a lot that he was chosen and it's definitely something to be proud of. The Harry fans are celebrating his own personal achievement of being given that honour. Nobody is making it out to be a groundbreaking step in breaking gender norms, but Harry has been given the chance to go where no male has gone and it's brilliant. It says a lot about what people think of him.

I think it also says a lot about how open Harry himself is to gender and sexuality. He doesn't conform to any expectations and good for him.
