We don't seem to have a thread for this. A couple of pix before and after the race.
Will's time: Slightly down on last year - but still a great time despite bad cramp and that he walked/jogged the last few miles. From his brother: QUOTE Rupert Young From Will's Justgiving page:So proud William made it round even with the bad cramp he had. WELL DONE!!! Another runner helped him out, by stretching his leg for him what a wonderful thing the marathon is!!!! QUOTE Well the sun shone and another marathon passed. It was very tough from mile 17 and my pace quickly diminished from then on to a walk and actually almost a crawl! Will x My time was 4 hours 37 minutes which is not as good as last years 4 hours 2 minutes but still thank you to you all for so generously supporting catch 22 and this amazing event that does so much for so many charities. roll on next year. 24/04/12 10:15 Well done Will. |
