Was a new thread really needed? And is there any point in having info on old releases?

Yeah, The Saturdays confirmed it would some of his shows. It wouldn't surprise me if they started re-filming for e! in June if the series is renewed. I have a suspicion that The Saturdays are waiting until June to launch What About Us properly in America, they could spend a couple of months in America doing radio promotions, shows while their not touring with Bieber. I'm thinking this is why the album has been delayed until "later in the year". If it's released after 'Gentleman' they wouldn't be able to tour the US AND promote the album, but if they move the album back a few months it gives them time to focus on America. I agree Shadow, I guess it's starting to make sense what you think about it. I really hope they focus on America as much as they can in June. I doubt they will release Gentleman in the US either. |

I hope people won't get confused with the comparison though. You included interviews for What About Us and a few other singles, yet none for All Fired Up, although I'm pretty sure August and September was quite a busy time for The Saturdays in terms of promo and if you look at the first post, it looks like All Fired Up and My Heart Takes Over didn't have as much promo as the other singles which is not true, to be honest.
I mean, that's not a huge deal, as I'm sure if took you long enough to search all this info (good job, by the way), but if you want people to compare promo and stuff, you will need to complete it a bit more. But for now, it looks good. That being said, great job. |

Great reminder of how on point the Missing You promo was. It still baffles me that even with all that promo and two weeks at #1 on the airplay chart it's still only managed to move just over 200,000 copies.

But for now, it looks good. That being said, great job. I took all the information from the last promo thread and made it into one and researched the others. I remember the promotion for All Fired Up & My Heart Takes Over (although they went on a little radio tour) was poor as I complained about it. I've made it to just start doing it towards the future... there did seem to be a trend going on from Ego that they seem to be promoting less of each single as times goes on. They've done much more promo for What About Us than they did for All Fired Up, 30 Days, Notorious, My Heart Takes Over... that's for sure! I didn't include Saturdays 24/7 or Chasing The Saturdays either, like I said I just created it so we can start being more organised from here on out! |

But they did lots of interviews during for these two singles. It was the time when they actually promoted the single and "the new album coming out" in November, I was just pointing that out.
You still did a good job anyway, so. |

Really don't like the 30 Days snub that they have going on, if they performed it at Radio 1s big weekend and other events they could get it's sales up to 100,000!

Is there any footage of the songs they performed that weren't in the highlights? I imagine they done 30 Days and probably Ego and Issues too right?

Wow I'm psychic, if anyone uploads any videos of them performing the other songs, someone let me know please!
I hear they also did Forever Is Over! Only just heard the Radio 1 Audio, didn't realise they editted out some of the songs on TV. This post has been edited by Juliano: May 28 2013, 04:30 AM |

- Notorious - Gentleman - Ego - 30 Days - Issues - All Fired Up - Higher - What About Us I kinda want them to ditch Notorious, tbh. It just doesn't work live. For some reason their vocals always sound strained/out of breath and the chorus just seems flat. The constant change in tempo keeps the crowd dead as well. I'm shocked they done 30 Days but I'm hoping they ditch Issues as well. This is the problem with them abandoning albums, we get fewer singles and we still have songs recycled from years ago. They must be sick to death of Issues by now. Saying that, at least they've abandoned Just Can't Get Enough. |

Issues is a beautiful song that is easy to sing, I think they keep it because it is easy for Vanessa to sing and apart from My Heart Takes Over and Missing You it is the only ballad they have.

I would much rather they done My Heart Takes Over or even Missing You, problem is not many people know MHTO and Missing You is pretty weak live. |
