Scheduled for a Valentine's Day 2025 release in the US, Hugh Grant is BACK, Colin Firth is OUT and Leo Woodall ("The White Lotus" and "One Day") is joining the cast, rumoured to be the new love interest for a widowed Bridget.

There hasn't been a dud in this series so far and the last movie was one of my favourites of 2016 (back at a time when I was going to the cinema about one hundred times a year), so my excitement for this is high!

OMG I love that they are doing this.

The book was awesome and yes it is sad, but it's a good story to tell

Given the synopsis, I'm not sure if I read it!! The last one I read, shewas in hospital and she knocked over some diluting juice. Is that Baby or this one? I can't remember any deaths though

No Colin Firth? Feels wrong without him in it, thought they managed to get away with the lack of Hugh Grant but the true love interest not being in it seems wrong.

Bridget Jones's Baby has become my favourite of the lot so I'm glad they're keeping this going with a new one. Yay for Hugh Grant

Ohhhhh I'm gonna need to do a Bridget Jones binge bc I can't even remember who she married, did she not have Patrick Dempsey's baby after they banged in a tent at a festival? laugh.gif
