Didn't Mel C perform High Heels there last year?  Either way, good for her. I would've gone with a greatest hits medley though to push the album. Maybe something like Murder / Mixed Up / Catch You / Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer / Young Blood / Groovejet (though that would probably be too long lol). I caught the performance on Graham Norton last night and was pleasantly surprised! I had no idea she had this out.
Horrified to see the start of this thread with people never having heard Murder on the Dancefloor. Like HOW?! It and Groovejet were ubiquitous. Just caught up on her recent performances - both fantastic, 'Crying at the Discotheque' feels like its her own and I don't think I'll ever tire of hearing 'Murder on the Dancefloor'.
I was very happy to see Sophie in the iTunes Top 10 on both songs and albums, I suspected Graham Norton would have a big effect but it's still wonderful to see the proof. I know it doesn't mean much but 'Crying at the Discotheque' had a decent sales chart run and should achieve a new peak this week: 35-84-81-36-31-35-25-40-57-81-X |
