BJSC 114 update
YTD by points - The runaway top 2 of the year to date, FARC and Aeroche, both came top 10 again this time (FARC having a 100% record of top 6 finishes in 2019) with nearly the same number of points, Aeroche just 3 ahead so closing the gap very marginally from 145 points to 142. They simultaneously become the first two countries over 1,000 points in the year to date. Oslol climb 9-3 after getting their second winner in the space of 5 contests, overtaking the briefly rechristened North Danaelanda who fall a place to 4th despite a top 10 finish in their home contest. Fljótavík remain in place at number 5. - Not helped by having a 33% deduction this contest (though it doesn't actually affect their position), Elëdan fall two places to 6th and will likely fall well outside the top 10 next month as they suffer a one contest ban. Thelonia celebrated their long delayed first ever top 10 hit this month and are also rewarded by entering the YTD top 10, up 11-7. Kluminican Republic and Quintessa retreat a place each to 8th and 9th respectively while Cowtermont cling on as a non-mover at #10. Oslol got 5 top scores and shoot up 12-3, knocking North Danaelanda down a place to 4th as in the main YTD list (though they also picked up 2 more 18s). Quintessa couldn't add any 18s to their tally this month and fall three places to 5th. - Séyetana got the most 18s of anyone this time around, a total of 7 which octuples their total in 2019 to date and sees them rise 51-6. Fljótavík stay in 7th, picking up 2 more 18s, Jupiterdonia stay top 10 here slipping only 4-8, Elëdan drop 6-9 despite getting one 18 this time (you're welcome x) and Terra Avium also got one 18 and fall a place to 10th. Rolling YTD top 30
(top 30 countries in the last ten contests (BJSCs 105-114)) - The top 4 remain unchanged again with Aeroche, FARC, Quintessa and Cor Lupus all shuffling by less than 50 points in either direction (Aeroche pull a little further ahead again as they're #1 for the 49th time). Unovia climb back to 5th so the top 5 reverts to how it was two months ago. - North Danaelanda and Cowtermont fall a place each to 6th and 7th, ahead of Jadakissnia who are stationary in 8th. Thelonia crack the top 10 for the first time, up three places to #9 in just their third appearance in the top 30. St. Burbia fall back to 10th and Cadelicia exit the top 10, down one to 11th. - The only other country reaching a new high is Oslol who rise to 13th, surpassing the high of #14 they achieved twice before (back in the updates for BJSCs 61-70 and 63-72). Four countries re-enter the top 30. Altyr Muunilinst had an initial run of 68 straight months in the top 30 including 52 in the top 10 but have suddenly fallen off since then, their re-entry at #23 is only the second time they've been on this list in the last 9 updates. Bhangra poke back in at #28 after two months out, Espen return again at #29 after missing out for one month, and Florina mark a return at #30 after 34 consecutive absences (despite actually DNQing this month). 18 point system not working in my favour for once, robbed me of what would have just about been defined as a hit.
My aim is to get in that ytd top 10 sometime, think the highest I've been was 11th but the competition is fierce! |

In other news I just remembered that Jupiter PMed me a new flag for Jupiterdonia at the start of the month and I totally forgot to update it. So soz for them being represented by the wrong flag in the contest just now. Have edited the flag's appearances in this thread anyway xx

Rolling YTD top 30
(top 30 countries in the last ten contests (BJSCs 106-115)) - Although Aeroche outperformed FARC in BJSC 115, they had a lot more to defend as silver medallist Camden Cox disappears from the tracking period (while FARC's exiting entry was Margrete's 'Joy' which came third from last) so FARC actually rise back to #1 here with a 61 point lead, their second non-consecutive month at the top. Quintessa, Cor Lupus and Unovia remain in place in 3rd to 5th. - Danćviia also hold in 6th but there is more movement lower in the top 10. Oslol climb 6 places to #7, making the top 10 for the first time ever, while Fljótavík go up 4 places to #8 marking their highest appearance since they were 3rd in the update for BJSCs 64-73. Jadakissnia fall a place to 9th and Cowtermont slip three to 10th. St. Burbia and Thelonia drop out of the top 10, down 10-11 and 9-12 respectively. - Harmonica return to their peak of 18th which they first achieved 2 updates earlier. There is one new entry as Lotunia make their mark on the top 30 for the first time at #24, while three other countries re-enter: Skall are back at #27 (after 43 consecutive updates being outside the top 30), Kluminican Republic return at #28 (after 6 absences in a row) and Hendinia at #30 (after 9 absences in a row). Tinnmark drop out from #22, Břtanikkä from #24 and Land of DW from #27 but the biggest loss by far is FSR Rontvia who fall out from #26 as, despite a respectable top 15 result in BJSC 115, the loss of top 10 finishing Millie Turner from the tracking period is still enough for them to rank just outside the top 30 countries of the last year for the first time ever after 114 straight contests with a place on the list.
