The new Daft Punk sampling 'Rhymes' from Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo

Well this has generated a bit of discussion in the R1 dance chart thread so might as well post a thread for it  EDIT: Now merged into the thread Dan made like 2 seconds before me. Lul.Basically just a new version of Daft Punk's 'Technologic'. I especially love the bit from about 3:00 onwards. It's currently only on iTunes as an album-only track on Annie Mac Presents 2014 so may be getting a single release in the near future. Would love to see this becoming a hit. |

Fabulous to see this getting a release date, no idea what to expect from it chart-wise though. Could end up just doing a 'Heartbeat Loud' but equally could do a 'Bump & Grind 2014'.

Surely this will perform better in the charts than Heartbeat Loud!? The fact its released in January will surely help it.
The songs been getting a lot of hype already. R1 & 1xtra have been hammering it for a month now and when I'm out clubbing, everyone already knows the tune - normally a good indicator of chart success. Imo, Heartbeat Loud wasn't subtle enough to be a chart hit in 2014, the trend has been for more minimalist productions. |

It says the song is released on 24th January 2015. Surely that might be a mistake as it falls on a Saturday. Either way, hope the song does well. I remember seeing her live last year at the Buttermarket in Shrewsbury

The video is DIFFERENT to say the least. Reminds me of the video for Tiga 'Bugatti' actually, at least some dance acts are actually putting effort into music videos

Well that video is something!
The song in full-length form is perfectly fine but I see why they've cut it down rather a lot for the release and they've at least done a pretty good job with the short edit (I was worried they were going to cut out the beat change part entirely which is the best part of the song). Really rooting for this to be a big hit <3 |
