Storyline involving Keegan and Shakil: they'll be involved in a knife attack (http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eastenders/news/a852960/eastenders-spoilers-knife-crime-storyline-keegan-shakil/) Seems like Eastenders is finally getting its edge back? Two of the most underrated characters on the show (Keegan in particular) so this could be gripping stuff if done right! |

Let’s hope it’s not as cringe as the Liam storyline that introduced Dexter and Ava

Jean is breathing so much life into me I can’t.
Last night was so perfect with the exception of the awful pub fight. But aren’t we back to Murray misery next week? |

Storyline involving Keegan and Shakil: they'll be involved in a knife attack (http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eastenders/news/a852960/eastenders-spoilers-knife-crime-storyline-keegan-shakil/) Seems like Eastenders is finally getting its edge back? I believe Brooke Kinsella who played Kelly Taylor is working with them with this: QUOTE EastEnders’ executive consultant, John Yorke, also said: “The brutal reality of knife crime was brought home to everyone at ‘EastEnders’ with the tragic murder of Ben Kinsella in 2008. Ben’s sister Brooke, who has been such an important part of the show, began an inspiring campaign to bring attention to the awful consequences – a campaign that continues to this day. “However, knife crime is as prevalent today as it was back then so it’s more important than ever to raise awareness of the nature of this terrible crime – and how horrendous it is for teenagers, their families and communities. “‘EastEnders’ has a long tradition of tackling serious public issues, and this is one of the most important the show has ever embarked on. The episodes are powerful, heart-breaking and dramatic, and we hope will help both carry on Brooke’s inspiring message – while making it clear that knife crime destroys the lives of everyone it touches.” |

Last night's episodes were genuinely hilarious. God I've missed the Slaters! I was in hysterics at some of the house scenes with Jean

More about the Keegan and Shaki storyline - it seems like Shaki is being killed off! EE is definitely getting much better again, things are looking up. Bonnie is gonna SMASH thiis and I can see Zack Morris being great too having something to really get into.

Joyce and Shakil to die? well at least they’re staying away from the icons. How I wish Abi were still with us.

The 2 been killed off wont be missed and their exits should be of benefit to show unlike recent exist.
Its so good having the Slaters back, best set of episodes in a long long time. Jean was just hilarious, at last we have hope, now lets see if they can keep the momentum going. |

IMAGINE an old man going into a cafe full of people and yelling at a school girl "I've been waiting in the shed for 20 minutes!"

Is Ted ever doing anything but hiding somewhere in a strop over the tiniest thing?

Amazing it took them this long to do a Phil ‘I’m her sponsor’ storyline.
I love Sharon and Michelle, even this Michelle, shame it’s not to last. Ted is such a weird character. |

No saying to Kat about coming back from the dead,
'Why not, Kathy did it and no one battered an eyelid!' 'You was fakin' it? Outrageous!' That new producer KNOWS the Slaters. Stacey was finally back to being her original character - they all were. Can Alfie just stay away?? Kat is much better without him. The way they all defended each other and were like, end of, was typical Slater. The most unrealistic thing though was an NHS ambulance in Tory Britain arriving in under a minute!! |

The Slaters taking centre stage is a wonderful reminder of how great the show was. Having the Slaters back offers some hope that the show can return to its glory. The return of Jean, Big Mo and Kat is great for the show and has also put life back into Stacey as we are seeing the Stacey that we like.
I have enjoyed all their scenes since their return and they have all made me chuckle. |
