Its been a bunch of weeks since I posted a chart! This week, the second in September, continues Lana Del Rey's dominance following the release of her latest studio album 'NFR!'
The Greatest, which was a rare #1 debut last week continues its reign; it's Lana's 14th #1 on my personals and so far her third from this era. Six other tracks from the album are sprinkled through this week's top 40 including two which rise into this week's top ten. Since we last checked in, Lizzo has also gained her first chart topper on my personals - although Tempo has dropped like a stone since.

This week's top ten is full of my alltime fave artists; Pink finally managing a hit from her latest album Hurts 2B Human after none of the official singles really caught me, Nicki Minaj landing what might be her last top 3 for a while as she announces retirement/hiatus, and Inna with a rare collab, here alongside Yellow Claw. Charli XCX also continues her imperial success phase with another soundtrack song, while Empire of the Sun's re-entry once again re-peaks after managing a disappointing #15 peak on its first round back a few years ago.

This week's highest new entry (#12) goes to another slightly older track, Babymetal's Starlight, which has risen in my estimations as we get closer to the release of their upcoming third project. Haim's comeback Summer Girl also finally clicked recently and debuts strongly at #14. Other non-Lana new entries this week come from Tove Lo and Jax Jones, Jessie Ware, Carly Rae Jepsen, Editors, Lady Antebellum, Pale Waves, 93PUNX, Rebecca & Fiona and MUNA. The Lana invasion shifts a lot of stuff down which might come to jump back in recharts in weeks to come.
