Good evening y'all. This heat contains the two best songs of Melfest 2017, but also the worst. The eventual winner, the oldest Melodifestivalen contestant ever and the most iconic / worst lyrics of the year outside of Zara Larsson's final interval performance. Please do the right thing or run the risk of the results never being posted / some PMs getting 'accidentally' deleted from my inbox.

1 Robin Bengtsson - I Can’t Go On



Robin placed third in Swedish Idol in 2008, behind Alice Svensson who came 2nd, and Kevin Borg who came 3rd in the Maltese selection this year, so look who's laughing now.

2 Krista Siegfrids - Snurra min jord



As if presenting the Finnish selection, UMK, wasn't enough, Finland's Eurovision 2013 representative decided to show up here for the second consecutive year. She's getting around almost as much as Alexander Rybak.

3 Anton Hagman - Kiss You Goodbye



Shawn when he landslides this heat and the final



4 Jasmine Kara - Gravity



Who needs Melfest success anyway when you've apparently sung in front of Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

5 Owe Thörnqvist – Boogieman Blues

6 Bella & Filippa – Crucified



Fun fact, Owe is the oldest but I have also been informed that Bella is the first person born in the 2000s to take part in the contest.

7 FO&O - Gotta Thing About You

Omar from the band was born in Venezuela. Aw like a mini Jon Henrik ;o (And WHO quits a band right before taking part in the second best TV event of the year? That former member be cray)

I agree with this (kind of, might need a bit of wording adjustment and numbers) but I think we're thinking of different things.

Gravity goes out in 5th with 86 points, only two ahead of Krista. FO&O will join Anton at AC, with all four acts that progressed tonight being above the 100 point mark
