Ronaldo will win both i should think.
How old can you be to qualify for Young Player of the Year? Isn't Torres like 24/25? |

Main award nominations:
Cristiano Ronaldo Cesc Fabregas Emmanuel Adebayor David James Steven Gerrard Fernando Torres Young Player of the year: Cristiano Ronaldo Cesc Fabregas Fernando Torres Micah Richards Ashley Young Gabriel Agbonlahor Ronaldo will win both. He's just been a mile better than anyone else this season. I think Torres will be second and Fabregas third in main player category. Not sure about young player; probably the same players. |

I don't think Ronaldo has been on a different world to other players this season. I agree he's been exceptional and over the whole of the season you would say he's been the best player in the Premier League, but Fabregas has been excellent for Arsenal and Torres has been brilliant too. 1st season in the Premier League and he's scored over 20 goals. Any other season i'd have said Torres would walk the award. I know a lot of made about Ronaldo getting almsot 30 goals as a winger, but he doesn't even play as a winger half of the time.

Ronaldo for the main and Torres for the young I suspect. Which will make a mockery of the whole system really, considering Ronaldo is a year younger than him..

Young Player? What a complete joke? If you're not eligible to play for your countries U21s then you shouldn't be up for it, there's no way Ronaldo or Torres are young any more! Fabregas for Young Player...

It is rather strange, if Torres wins he will be the oldest ever winner of the "Young" player award And even if Ronaldo wins, he will be 2nd oldest, after Scott Parker in 2004.

I don't think Cesc Fabregas will win young player. He started off well but for the last few months he's been a bit in the shadows.

Ronaldo deserves everything. He has been in a different world, what midfielder can score that many goals in a season and be such an amazing team plater? <3
Failingthat, Torres should get young player but Ronaldo is my prime choice for both easily. |

Wasn't young player of the year only for U21's back in the day?
I agree with Ronaldo / Torres walking away with them. |

i think it's unfortunate for Torres that Ronaldo has been immense all season.
They should be nice and give one to one of them and the t'other to the well other |

Do you reckon this is a p*** take? Yeah James has been excellent this season! There's no wonder why England's #1 keeper at the moment, for the simple fact there's no other better English keeper than him at the moment. Plus without him Pompey would have done no way near as good this season. |

I don't think he's been any better than he was last season for them... He's just got a better defence infront of him.
