This has always been a massive album track favourite from Ariana so I wanted to see who else absolutely adores this beauty.

Lyrically it's one of her strongest songs and her vocal delivery just elevates it into something really quite special. The joining of pain and ecstasy, the euphoria of being wronged and hurt.. It's a beautiful sentiment and so relatable.

I like Why Try I wouldn't say it is a proper album fave but whenever it comes on it is rather nice and her vocals really shine on it.

One of my ABSOLUTE FAVS from My Everything. Especially the 'I.m in love with the painnnnnnnnnnnn' ad-lib. Getting to hear her sing this live was a moment

Over the weeks since Sweetener's release, I've come to realise that My Everything really is Ariana's best piece of work. "Why Try" is of course one of her many vocal masterpieces and her comments the other night are yet another example of her wrong opinions on her own music.

Sweetener is SEVERAL coins behind ‘My Everything’ and ‘Dangerous Woman’ for me. Why Try is the only track i actually re-visit from ME though, I just don’t find it as solid as DW.
