Finally managed to listen to most of it
there's so so so so much filler, and they've got plenty of time + used all the old tracks, so thats quite disappointing
also too many ballads

but on 1st listen, Hollywood is great, the highlight of the album besides SYL and hopefully pushed as the next single, could be a big hit in the summer

the rest, cannot see any obvious single, even Hold Me while you wait, that's just ok but nothing spectacular like SLY was. SLY was a great song, that kinda seemed to me like written from the guts, and that really resonated with me, the melody, the lyrics, the notion that you're with someone, you get used to that person, and then they break up with you... I guess many could identify with that... but cannot see the same kind of connection with any other song...

Really enjoyed this album.

My favourite album by a male artist in a long while and one of the best debuts of recent times.

A lot of his stuff is quite folky, which would come under it.

Though it really doesn't matter.

Now one of few, who could get 3 songs in the Top10 from a release of an album.

Any word on what the next single is going to be? I’m hoping for Hollywood, something a bit more upbeat after Someone You Loved and Hold Me While You Wait.

I wouldn't mind him releasing Hollywood for a change of style but my favourite on the album is definitely One, and that still proved to be a pretty popular album track so I'm hoping he releases that as a single!

sure One is gonna be out either as the next single or as the Xmas single
I think Hollywood would be better now, otherwise he will end up being labelled as a ballad-only guy

Grace isn't a ballad though, and that's one of his biggest.

(but yes Hollywood as the next single please!)

Just came across this, it’s only available on the Day’s Gone soundtrack album but it sounds brilliant.

Think it's a good shout, it will enter the top 20 now imo and deserves big radio support following it doing so well all year!
