BGT returns in a week on Saturday for it's 13th series, following Lost Voice Guy's win last year.
Ant will also be back after his TV break last year.
Metro are also reporting Susan Boyle will be one of the live show performers with her lead single from her new album.
I love BGT. Far better than X-Factor
It feels like there’s 0 hype for this
it will still absolutely smash the ratings
This came around quickly again it feels!
There's meant to be a champions edition this year isn't there?
This means I have to start working on the BGT fandom again doesn't it Feel free to make my job easier on there or contributing to discussion!
I thought it was basically confirmed, it should be good but I feel like all the good/obvious ones were on the AGT version anyway so it's just gonna be that again except with worse judges and worst hosts It was really good seeing the range of choices though so if they had some different ones it'd be cool.
Also SNT spin-off In For a Penny will air before the second episode next week at 19:30 - quite looking forward to that!
Not 100% sure, but judging from the preview they've posted Simon's Golden Buzzer will be tonight
That second act was unexpected
That was the best act of the show, how creepy was that
That comedian completely ripped off Nina Conti's act!
And Keith Lemon has been doing it on Celebrity Juice for years
So glad to have this back *.*
My faves were the creepy magician and those two guys balancing at the end (seriously impressive ) - basically the weird but good ones
I see David Watson is back for the tenth time.
Most of it was just like the Giang Brothers the last act. I hope Nina Conti will respond to that ripoff audition.
Good to see David J Watson back, one year he needs to go through!
Also that primary school reminded me so much of Nativity and Mr Poppy.
I immediately thought of Nina when that ventriloquist was on. I did laugh at him, but it was only because David went all out for him. Other than that, he wasn't nearly as good at the actual ventriloquism and voices as Nina was.
The head teacher made my heart melt. That was so beautiful to watch. He clearly loves those kids to bits and they had the time of their lives up there.
I wonder how that ventriloquist gets on with ordinary audience members (as Nina Conti does) rather than professional show-offs such as David Walliams.
Also Nina literally did her act on a show David was hosting!
Absolutely loved the opening show. Even watched it again yesterday on ITV2. The school choir. Elizabeth the magician, sword act, singing piano playing mum, Dalek, great stuff.
Sad news. Jack Saunders, 25, part of dance act Green Force Five, who have reached the live semis, has committed suicide. ITV are still deciding whether to show the audition.
They might have to show it - as in the bit with the rooms they will be stood with other contestants.
But after that it wil depend if the act want to carry on without him. Very sad though
Well Flakefleet releeased their Christmas campaign song a year early didn't they
My favourite was the comedy pianist (forgot her name already oops), agree with the Nina Conti comparisons for the ventriloquist and the Vardanyan brothers are basically the same as the Giangs from last year
Loved the first episode, especially the creepy magician and the school kids.
I don't normally like kids singing/dance acts but they were brilliant. I was good to see an act like that where they looked like they were genuinely having fun, and the teacher didn't care if everyone is in perfect line, as long as they were enjoying themselves.
The 'Dalek' was just really bad.
Martyn Crofts did the Dalek thing in 2012, and was much better!
Honestly any Dalek / Doctor Who parodies on this show are pretty excruciating :')
Justice for The Deep Space Deviants! The only act ever to get 4 buzzers in the live shows.
I was quite enjoying it
Stuff like that makes me embarrassed to be a Doctor Who fan :')
I might do a BGT winners' rate at the end of this series.
Speaking of, what happened to Tokio Myers? I thought he'd do at least one pop crossover before he faded away.
Series 8 finalist Jon Clegg has said that Jimmy had been doing his vent act for '42 years' - which is fair enough. But Nina is the one who has shown it is successful.
Susan Boyle will be performing 'I Dreamed a Dream' on tomorrow's show to celebrate 10 years since her audition:
With her debuting a new single for the live shows, Cowell's really going for her comeback.
Other acts have had all four buzzed in the semi-finals which have beeen:
Antonio Poyeye (Series 5)
Kony Puppets (Series 8)
Marty Putz (Series 11)
And still Jessica Hobson hasn't had the justice that she deserves.
Yes, I do wonder how he did, what else could he do? That was sad to hear about him passing away last year.
A few previews for tonight's show which is at 8pm, following Stephen Mulhern's In for a Penny:
People still watch this trash??
Clearly
Episode 1 of the auditions last week was the most watched TV show so far this year, and that's excluding on demand viewings!
SuBo still sounds amazing!
Omg I’m shook at the Ant/Dec connection thing act. How on earth?!!!
Omg Sheila is my new icon
Really hope Sheila makes it to the semis, absolutely died at her performance
I didn't think that comedian was as good as some of the ones last year, but he seemed like a nice guy.
Didn't find that comedian funny in the slightest, baffled by a golden buzzer for that....
Omg I found him hilarious!
Also the second year in a row someone Alesha knows has got a Golden Buzzer!
The quality this week was a huge let down. I do enjoy a joke act but it was way too focused on those this week and I didn't care much for the 'good' ones either.
I agree that we've seen much better comedians, the guy last night was alright I guess but not quite golden buzzer worthy. I was expecting Alesha to press it so Simon was a little less predictable at least. I think Lost Voice Guy and Daliso are my absolute favourites over the years in terms of comedy!
I feel like Simon pressed it because he knew Alesha wanted to, but it wouldn't really be fair for her to do it as she seemed to know him quite well outside the show.
An interesting advert for Skoda airing on the show this week - featuring Paloma Faith, The Sherlocks, Lady Leshurr, The Kingdom Choir and Alexis French.
I suppose it's got something to do with that all of those artists released covers of 'I've Gotta Be Me' the other week
I was baffled by that masked magician act. That was really good!! How on earth was that even possible without Ant and Dec being in on it? The touching thing was good enough, but the scribble being identical and reading as 1989 upside down was crazy.
That comedian wasn't that funny I have to say. He was OK and deserved to go through, but a golden buzzer wtf?
I would totally have pressed the Golden Buzzer for the primary school the week before though. As a primary school teacher myself I was bawling my eyes out halfway through the performance, every teacher in the country must want to work for that man now!
Previews from tonight's show which is on again at 8pm!
Barbara's humour is right up my street
Two more previews from tonight's show - they've been building up the knifethrower on social media.
I can't @ them kids being current fave to win!!
Barbara was brilliant!
Sorry, but he seemed like a very nice chap - but that definitely wasn't Golden Buzzer worthy.
God this years series is dreadful
That entire episode was awful!
There was nothing in tonight's episode that I particularly want to see again.
That golden buzzer boy is fairly famous in India apparently, even has a wiki page!
That was a pretty bad episode yesterday! I liked Barbara and the knife thrower - but everthing else was bad or boring. Some of the acts like the throat singer weren't even 'so bad they're good', they were 'so bad they're boring'.
That puppet bird act in the 'coming up' bit intruiged me!
Honestly BGMT is much funnier, Stephen is brilliant.
I really enjoyed the quality of the first episode but it has rapidly declined with these past couple of weeks! Hope next week will be better.
Reading these comments and I’m in agreement at last nights being poor.
Not just the worst of the series so far but genuinely one of the worst EVER.
How did nobody on the show recognise that Barbara is 'Holy Mary' from Phoenix Nights Or maybe they did and just didn't say, either way she's brilliant.
Simon did say he recognised her - but she said she 'hadn't done a talent show before'
Yeah I noticed that, and I guess if he was asking 'Barbara' then no she hasn't... thats her act... her real name is Janice Connolly and she's done her own tours etc around the country, Peter Kay noticed her at final of north west act of the year in Manchester. I remember her act on the Phoenix Nights live shows being very similar, I hope she does well in BGT
I wouldn't say last week's show was 'bad' per se but it wasn't amazing. Not really a fan of them giving Akshat the Golden Buzzer, I mean it's not even the first time we've had an act of that ilk on BGT and the fact he's yet another one doing the rounds on the Got Talents annoys me a bit.
Spoilers for an act getting to the semi's:
Sheila Simmonds has pretty much confirmed on her Insta she's in the semis based on what she's said! Not 100% sure though.
Previews from tomorrow's show:
Can't wait to see Derek Sandy! He's a bit of a local hero on the Isle of Wight and he performs at a lot of small local events, great to see him on TV!
15 minutes in and already better than last week
I think that magician will be a potential winner!
This is as awful as last weeks. Dog sob story now. I used to love this show, but it’s gone right downhill so far this year.
Loved the rollerskating act! It was impressive anyway but felt like something different this year too.
Derek - absolute legend
They reminded me of that brother & sister duo a few years ago -
Omg the tap-dancing reindeer I can't
Has this show given up on any credibility?
Britain's Got Delusion.
THAT BEAUTIFUL DOG I AM SOBBING
NOT Amanda's "Oh that dog! How sad!" giving me Bridget in Neighbours "oh no poor libby" teas
The talent level feels down compared to usual but I'm still really enjoying this series, I've barely stopped laughing throughout all of the shows so far!
Sven and Elsa to win!
I've watched this too many times now
Those tap dancing shots of Sven alone are a meme waiting to happen
I have to say, while I am still enjoying the show, the 'talent' is really subpar this year. I've only really liked the Primary school and the magician who did the trick with the movies.
Yeah, the dog act was very Marc Spelman, I feel like the public will see straight through it really. Georgia was a great singer with a great song but 3rd in Junior Eurovision... is that too much?
Love a record attempt
Elsa & Sven need to win.
Omg Conchita SHOOK
Thought that comedian-magician was brilliant!
It was quite clearly an absorbing cup but still, he was funny
Well that was an improvement on the last couple weeks.
Best act of the week on BGMT
So why was the woman who sang and did the aerial stuff buzzed off but those Dutch girls who's only 'talent' was to be able to appear behind some sheets sent through with flying stars? It would've been the other way round for me.
And that comic/magician was definitely the best of the night.
Neither were good, but the aerialist/singer was absolutely awful. I cringed so hard I chipped a tooth.
As for the Dutch girls, they ruined that trick with stupid camera angles. We could see the boxes and cages extended well beyond the fake wall, but the audience wouldn't have been able to see that. It would have looked more impressive for them. It was still very basic though.
Back tonight in 1hr 30 - 3 audition shows left!
Do all magicians have to be 'creepy' now
This programme is getting worse. All mediocre tonight so far! I miss this programme being good - argh what happened?!
I was just thinking the same thing. So many acts have a 'message' without the performance itself being any special.
I did enjoy that Chelsea Pensioner though.
It picked up a bit at the end with the magician and the Stevie Wonder medley, but apart from that it was another mediocre episode.
Bloody hell none of the golden buzzers this year are anything special this year.
Loved that magician at the end.
Apparently that band at the end are with McFly's management - and have been writing with Tom Fletcher...
I couldn't be less shocked at that. As soon as I heard they were already all theatre kids, I said to my other half they're definitely already known to people. They were invited to audition and Simon probably already knew them. His questions before they performed were not convincing at all. I didn't like them. It was noisy and messy and the singer's voice has no character to it. It's not appealing at all.
As for the magician, I liked him but that audience member was the worst actress. She spoiled that as her rehearsed shock and looking around was so cringe. I'm assuming twins that can get themselves into pretty small spaces (the base of the cage). But I still enjoyed it because he's got great stage presence and confidence about him.
Yeah his whole presentation was brilliant, and so was the egg trick.
I think if he steps it up for the semis he will he a strong contender.
Very few good acts going through this year.
Tbh I haven't completely given up hope yet.
There were some decent acts who could step it up for the live shows, I remember there were a few of them last year.
Ben Hart is STUNNING
I haven't even watched this series properly but what I have seen catching up on the acts on YT really isn't great, there hasn't been a single act who I've really thought could or should go all the way that I've seen.
That boy band were really mediocre, I've seen better bands at my high school concerts.
Ah but were those bands in School of Rock the Musical and working with McFly's Tom Fletcher?
Are you implying that having those two things actively makes your band worse?
Live semi-finals will be shown on the week commencing Monday 27, confirmed by Tellymix
https://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/britains-got-talent/400903-when-are-the-britains-got-talent-2019-live-shows-dates-and-times-confirmed.html
That would be amazing! What makes you think that though?
Last year we got Rita Ora, Tokio Myers and a load of musicals.
I imagine we'll definitely get Lost Voice Guy and Susan Boyle (with her new album out that week) and probably James Arthur.
I'm thinking
Taylor Swift
Lewis Capaldi
James Arthur
Last Years Winners
Little Mix
Musical
Surely no chance we'll see Little Mix now Syco split with them?
Ellie is doing a lot of promo atm too
she needs to
but even simon shaded her on x factor
There's a church choir on tonight so you just know they'll get put through. Up against Eurovision but I'll watch BGT then go over to BBC1.
To be fair, the choir was decent. One of the better one's they've had!
I wouldn't say this series has lacked talent per sé, it's more of "seen it all before" kinda attitude. If all that happened in series 2 or 3 people would be going crazy.
Another small bugbear is that it just doesn't feel as special when someone knocks it out the park anymore as the show has evolved & expanded so much since its inception. You'll never get another magic moment like Paul Potts/Susan Boyle again, ordinary people with hidden talents as almost all the acts now have been professionally coached/trained or appeared in other similar talent contests previously so nothing surprises people anymore. It was a better watch when it the show was still in its infancy in that sense. Having said that, it's almost always the international acts that do offer someone different on the series nowadays like with the sword balancing guys - this act is the only one that's genuinely made my proverbial jaw drop throughout the whole series thus far.
It was OK albeit underwhelming watching last night's episode on ITV2.
Just realised I put 'this year' twice in that, apologies for the poor grammar
BTS have been confirmed to perform on one of the semis!
I'm not a massive fan (though Boy With Luv is quite good, so hopefully they perform that), but it's good that they're getting someone different this year.
Quite the coincidence but I've been reading the Now 100 Artists book and there's a bit on what happened the month each NOW was released and it mentions Jimmy Tamley (ventriloquist from this series) winning the show New Faces of '87, beating Joe Pasquale (random I know but thought I'd mention it!)

Diversity
Christ what an exciting lineup again x BTS should be fun tho *.*
I knew Taylor wasn't gonna be on it as she's now in France but I was hoping they'd get at least some people I stanned 😂
Not seen this week's BGT yet and won't be able to catch up until my exams are over on Sat (and BGT is over ) but wanted to say that I've seen John Archer perform at my church twice! He's very good, but as with most of the acts on here, also quite well known.
Just found out John Archer was one of the magicians on the 2010(ish) CBBC show Help My Supply Teacher is Magic - loved that show! Thought I'd recognised him, he's very good.
CAN THEY STOP WITH JAMES ARTHUR
PLEASE.
Syco need someone to promote
Oh BTS are a really good guest! Not so enthused about the rest except Diversity though
Starting with ‘On Your Feet!’ musical tonight apparently.
Another good year for comedy/comedy-entertainers this year. I don't think there's an obvious winner yet, I think one of the more 'alright' acts from the auditions will step their game up like a few did last year.
Tonight I think going through will definitely be Flakefleet Primary School.
Not sure about the second one, is definitely very open. I'll go with The Haunting, though Tony Rudd is my dark horse. I think he'll be incredible or absolutely shit
Opening with Akshat, not much different from his audition.
Surprised they're having two golden buzzer acts in the same night.
First time I've watched since the first audition show and this is actually embarrassing
Tony was brilliant! He's got to go through
Lost Without You, what an original choice!
Did Amanda just drop an f-bomb?! lmao
Yes, that was a.clear F-bomb.
She was brilliant! The trick was pretty simple I thought but the production and Amanda's reaction made up for that!
Yeah I agree, the presentation of the trick made it far more gripping than these acts usually are! My favourite so far tonight.
And then the children's choir follows that's pretty f***ed up.
Totally here for Amanda dropping the F-bomb Thought she was just acting and it was all staged until she dropped that clanger!
Maybe I'm just dead inside but HOW are these kids favourite to win?! Like bless them they're adorable having fun but it's not a talent to have a bit of fun on stage
That was sort of okay - but it was sooooo long winded and the magic element was incredibly basic.
What's talented about these kids? I don't get it?
Thought it was a bit samey as their audition. Still pretty good though, reminds me of the film Nativity.
I've not caught up with the show, but I can usually spot the winner a mile off. Suspect these kids will win the audition but not the whole show. I certainly can't see them winning. Top 3 deffo.
I'd be so annoyed if I was like a singer or magician who had honed their craft to get beaten by a school play slash Sainsbury's Christmas advert
Talk about baiting with a 'message'
Yeah this act just leaves me cold? The dancing is basic and the message just feels shoehorned. This was better than their audition though which felt really random
I really liked that, not usually a huge fan of that kind of dance act but they were pretty good! That might just be me wanting ANYTHING that isn't kids pratting about or a guy with a bowl on his head saying he's Buzz Lightyear tho
Excuse me Tony was brilliant!
I would die for this dog
"Over his career Finn has caught 100s of criminals. How many do you think?"
"52"
I enjoyed the dance act way more than the audition from them, the choreography worked a lot better.
I don't care for this dog magician act at all - didn't like it in the semi finals much either.
Still not a fan of them, never a fan of videos in magic.
Is it me or were the letters at the end simply NOT the ones the judges chose?
And the video section was clearly just edited - the clock time could easily be altered, same with the names and numbers.
The dog and the magic police man, I didn’t believe any of that, was ridiculous.
That's just using the dog saving him and the puppies to manipulate votes, the act itself was pretty dull and has been done before but way way better.
The talent level was rock bottom tonight, bar the dancers I guess, and the magician was by far the best but even that was bolstered by the presentation and the trick itself was quite basic.
Rosie & Adam to save this semi-final please! Loved them last time
Yeah pretty sure he just changed all the letters to spell out “future” - hardly magic that?
Oh wait there's another
I still can't believe Donchez came 3rd last year. Legend.
That didn't feel quite as flawless as their audition but they'll still be getting all of my votes, so compelling to watch!
Give me something dangerous and edge of your seat than stupidity or emotional manipulation anyday That was very good!
5 votes for Tony
Ayy bit of Bastille in the background there
Oh I thought Rosie & Adam would've been fine with the pimp slot factored in not even top 3? aww.
Oh FFS!!! Honestly my least favourite act of the night.
Dave & Finn?! Okay I know this show is obsessed with dog acts but seriously really thought Flakefleet would've been first.
What a f***ing joke
I'd be fuming if I had an actual talent and lost to emotional manipulation and a school play
What a terrible start to the results
Nah sorry it should’ve been The Haunting and Flakefleet both through and not the dog act
So the British public have voted for a police officer accompanied by a dog who doesn't do anything. What a farce.
Bit of a joke that, The Haunting should've definitely gone through - hopefully she'll be the wildcard.
Much better lineup on tomorrow's show!
Yes it is a shame what happened to Finn the dog back in 2016. I'm glad he has recovered from it.
But all he did was have a tennis ball in his mouth.
Flakefleet they released a Christmas song, didn't they?
The Haunting, yes people.may complain but that was something out of the ordinary.
The most offputting thing for me is that he is just using the dog really, it broke my heart that he got stabbed and honestly bless his heart for protecting his handler but it wasn't even a dog act. To bring out the puppies as well, it just felt like he knew the act was average at best and amped it up with cute puppies and a hero dog. But it's not Surprise Surprise, it's meant to be a TALENT show and it feels like for certain acts it's more about the circumstance or story. Granted, we always need a heartwarming story or a bit of fun, but when did that become more important than just simply being a great and talented act?
Mabel performing on BGMT tonight
Tomorrow's acts:
The Queen
State of the Fart
Vardanyan Brothers
Siobhan Phillips
Giorgia Borg
Matt Stirling
Faith Tucker
4MG
Much better than today I think - I reckon going through will be Matt Stirling and 4MG (really depends on the performances). I don't think Giorgia was anything special, and that seemed to be the reaction online.
My dark horse is Siobhan Phillips But I can't wait for State of the Fart, I actually thought his audition was really good!
'State of the Fart', a one-trick pony a la Antonio Popeye?
Don't know, there really was only one thing Popeye could do. You can't change that up at all.
State of the Fart could do harder or faster songs.
Elizabeth's audition was far better than last night's Haunting offering.
Still think the boyband will win it.
Yesterday's show was up 200k from 2018's first semi!
Tonight's line up but not necessarily in order of appearance.
The Queen
State of the Fart
Vardanyan Brothers
Siobhan Phillips
Giorgia Borg
Matt Stirling
Faith Tucker
4MG
Looks stronger than last night.
jesus christ what the actual f*** is this The Queen act
Already better than yesterday! Particularly loved State of the Fart
What a start!
The actual queen and then a man farting to Toxic *_*
This is even worse than last night so far, absolutely embarrassing
Hopefully these brothers are better
Too similar to the Giang brothers....
It was all right, reminded me of a Eurovision song a bit.
Not as good as her audition, don't think she'll make it through
Seen it all before with Victoria Wood.
I really hope Faith is good tonight, thought she was good in the auditions
Let me guess, Stavros Flatley are there.....
I was disappointed in Siobhan tonight, I agree with Simon that her VT song was better than the actual performance!
The final two acts tonight were light years ahead of anything from either this show or last night's.
I'm going for 5 votes to Matt!
Faith was the best by a mile for me.
I enjoyed Siobhan too. She is a Victoria Wood tribute act but I loved Victoria Wood’s style of comedy so I’m fine with it.
Who tf is voting this year!?!
Absolutely have no words for Faith not even being top 3
The pimp slot act flopping again
Very happy for Siobhan as I really wasn’t expecting her to get through.
That was my personal top 3 so great results!! Shame for Matt though because his act is different yet still really entertaining.
Really like the top 2 who went through, but I preferred Matt to Siobhan.
Britain's Got More Talent never used to be so 'adult' oriented, I don't think.
What do you mean by that?
I meant with the swearing and that game which looked as people were doing it under the covers.
To be fair, Britain's Got More Talent (the game you're on about) has been doing that sort of hilarious stuff for years
Every week on the 'coming up' for the next episode they showed a clip of an act of two giant puppet bird costumes - but they never showed it
Tonight's lineup:
Angels Inc - Magic Group
Rob King - Singer
KNE - Dance Troupe
John Archer - Comedic Magician
Chapter 13 - Boyband
Colin Thackery - Chelsea Pensioner Singer
Gomonov Knife Show - Danger Act
Kojo Anim - Comedian
Tough one tonight to call. I think it's really open, especially with the comedians as they could sink or swim. No-one particularly outstanding tonight, John Archer is my dark horse.
James Arthur is also tonght's guest performing 'Falling Like the Stars'
Not a great start - don't think Angels Inc should've got through and the singer wasn't as good as his audition (still decent though)
looking forward to John next.
This year is absolutely abysmal, good christ Tonight so far is awful too
Loved John, absolutely hilarious! He's got to go through.
I was cackling with laughter at John, absolutely brilliant. Original and entertaining. Everything else so far tonight has been awful so he was a breath of fresh air!
Couldn't see a lot in him personally, he's the best so far easily tho
Very positive reaction online for John as well!
LOVE this series of Britain's Got Emotional Blackmail xx
I sound awful and heartless but I'm fed up of seemingly every act with half a chance having some kind of story or circumstance to bolster it rather than the show just being about talent :/
Still don't find Kojo funny, especially compared with John tonight.
Kojo was absolutely hilarious, first act of the week I'd say I *really* enjoyed!
John, Colin, Kojo and the boyband all fighting for a top 3 place it looks like then...
Maybe I just don't get his humour then
The Twitter reaction has been pretty bad for him.
good christ this boyband.............. I simply don't have the words
WHAT is THIS
This is like a shit soap storyline where the kids try and make a band and it lasts for like 3 episodes
Standing ovation for that f***ing racket? Oh
I thought the song was alright (thanks to McFly's Tom no doubt), but there style is so manufactured and I can't listen to a voice that high pitched
5 votes for John from me!
Omg pimp slot curse LMAOOOO !!!!
Colin is winning this whole thing isn't he? :')
Bless Colin
What an abysmal final this is turning out to be
Is this a deliberate attempt to get the British public banned from voting for anything ever again?
And yeah, Colin's got this in the bag
Omg did you see that finalist board - Siobhan had been replaced by Matt
What a joke! Judges votes should he scrapped, I bet John was second.
Hopefully he'll he the wildcard, with two magicians already in the final.
Tomorrow's Acts.

For tomorrow I'll go for Graeme and Ben Hart - I'd also be very happy with both of them.
My dark horse is Jimmy Tamley
Chapter 13 were so sure they were through, the look on their faces when they didn't make the Top 3.
Just realised Lost Voice Guy isn't performing this week! Is this the first time the previous winner hasn't returned?
Unless they're keeping him as a surprise for the final.
The Sun are reporting that Brotherhood (masked magicians) have pulled out. I wonder why?
And if they'll get a replacement in time.
I’d be shocked if Mark wasn’t in the top 3 tonight I think he’s got tonight’s show in the bag.
I’ve called all three winners this year so far but got the rest of the bottom 3 wrong each night.
I don't know about Mark. The singers so far this year haven't done too well other than the soldier yesterday - and he was a bit different.
Mark's got the story and that seems to practically nail you for top 3 this series
It is quite a weak semi actually, he probably will be top 3
Not sure he'll win though, I'd still go for Graeme or Ben. John not going through yesterday certainly will help Graeme.
Remember Minipops? Of course not, there's a good reason for that. Why Britain's Got Talent is happy enough with this is beyond me.
Ursula is quite popular locally with my musical friends. She really is as mad as a box of frogs in real life.
Although she was probably quite scundered filming that intro.
It was just a bit boring, bit of a waste of a slot.
His voice sounds very put on, like a music teacher has taught him to sing that way.
Yes Graeme!
Loads of BTS stands streaming internationally. I'm really not sure why, it's just a performance - it won't be anything that they can't wait to watch in the morning
Duo A & J (that name *_*) are the best so far by miles! Very skilled and beautifully presented.
Yeah I was just thinking Duo A&J is such an awkward name
Ayy bit of S Club there!
Well, that answers the question of "how do you make me feel sympathy for Simon Cowell". I'd have felt the same as him in that situation.
And that's why David wins Best Judge at the NTAs
Simon should've just gone along with it, he's on an entertainment show.
Idk what was more cringe to watch tonight - the harp woman or that ventriloquism eek
I think that happening will help the ventriloquist a lot.
Love Ben's presentation style! Could easily watch a whole show with him.
The magician definitely has a presence to him. Oddly, the part with Simon was one of the few times on a show when I saw exactly what he did but the rest I couldn't spot.
Giving all 5 of my app votes to Duo A & J. Them and Ben were my favourites but they'll need the help a lot more.
So Mark is going to win tonight yes? Making it 3 nights out of 4 that an act has won based on a sob story rather than talent.
Yawn.
5 votes for Graeme!
The ventriloquist seems like a total prick tbf.
I actually quite like this BTS song, but their fanbase puts me off so much. Some of the most obnoxious people I've seen online.
BTS slayed, getting very hyped for Wembley now *.*
Hopefully someone calls on BGMT to ask Simon about Jimmy! He still seems a bit annoyed.
Pleased that Ben topped the vote! Shame about Duo A & J but I was expecting that
Ben's awkwardness just then was cute af
This show is pathetic :’)
Pleasantly surprised Ben won!
Wish Graeme got through though, he or John yesterday should get the wildcard.
Finally the right act has won.
David has said on BGMT he wants John Archer to be the wildcard
Ben will win this competition I think.
I'd be up for that - I reckon he'll certainly at least make the top 3
America's Got Talent has just started being shown on Netflix UK with new episodes on Thursdays
I'd probably try to watch AGT on Netflix, but it's very hard to avoid spoilers because the Golden Buzzers and winners are always promoted to me on YouTube.
4/5 Colin Thackery
5/1 Jonathan Goodwin
6/1 Dave and Finn
7/1 Ben Hart
20/1 Flakefleet Primary School
I'd be shocked if Colin didn't win going by those odds
Tonight's lineup:
Barbara Nice (comedian)
Libby and Charlie (dancers)
Fabulous Sisters (dancers)
Gonzo (entertainer)
Jacob Jones (singer)
Jonathan Goodwin (escapologist)
Leanne Mya (singer)
X (magician)
Tough one tonight. I reckon going through will be Barbara and Jonathan - though it will depend on performances (particulatly Barbara's). My dark horse is X.
X was brilliant! I reckon they could win the night
X *.*
As for the singer...he knew he was average so the pregnancy screamed of last minute gimmick
X is much more like it!
Lol though at Amanda to that singing guy, I mean she was right but we've got Colin, Dave & Finn and Mark as finalists jsut on their story but that was fine?? :')
I can't see anything in Leanne at all, again all just a sob story whipping up a storm from nowhere. She's not terrible by any means, but you see better singers fall at bootcamp on X Factor!
Leanne was a bit dull.
Looking forward to Barbara next!
Barbara seemed to be on for an eternity!
Yes Barbara! She's got to go through
Now Barbara is exactly the sort of act I'd usually love but for me she's just okay. I didn't really laugh much and that dance section wasn't much fun for anyone who wasn't in the theatre taking part.
Barbara really went on and that ruined it for me, she's amusing enough but not THAT funny.
There's no specific time for the acts, it's all planned out before.
Comedians and magicians need more time than singers and dancers.
She was on for 7 minutes, according to the YouTube upload.
Worst semi final by far, I ended up using my 5 votes for the tambourine man x
Very happy who went through! Surprised the dancers were in the top 3, even more surprised the judges didn't put them through as Alesha wanted a dance act.
Hoping for John as the wild card!
I was rooting for the dancers - I thought they were pretty good really and I liked the way they just seemed so infectiously joyous. Plus I thought they handled the whole thing really well, they didn't sulk or get upset and generally seemed to have a really good attitude I thought.
Yeah I was rooting for the dancers as well. Good for them being in the top 3 though when they were a last minute switch!
No dancers in the final
Four of Diamonds on BGMT
The Chelsea Pensioner guy is so going to win and it's going to be sickening. I was briefly considering putting a quick bet on him when he was surprisingly low down the odds before his semi-final but obviously the odds aren't worth it now.
Aside from that there have been way too many magic acts this year and most of them have been distinctly underwhelming (though I quite like 4MG and I also enjoyed the comedy ones which have both gone out now). Do the judges not get bored of being constantly in fake shock and awe at every one of them x
Ursula was robbed. Queen *.*
I think the Chelsea pensioner will be Top 3, but there are a lot of the same acts this year which could mean vote splits.
Personally I feel if one of the magicians (either Ben or X) comes out with something mindblowing they will win.
Libby and Charlie got the wildcard.
I can't see the past the Chelsea pensioner but if it's not him I agree with Ben or X, depending on them getting the right performance!
So here's the final line-up:
Dave & Finn
Flakefleet Primary School
4MG
Siobhan Phillips
Colin Thackery
Kojo Anim
Ben Hart
Mark McMullan
X
Jonathan Goodwin
Libby and Charlie
Here's my prediction for the final:
1. Colin Thackery
2. Ben Hart
3. X
4. Dave & Finn
5. Jonathan Goodwin
6. Flakefleet Primary School
7. Mark McMullan
8. 4MG
9. Libby and Charlie
10. Siobhan Phillips
11. Kojo Anim
Final prediction -
01. Colin Thackery
02. Ben Hart
03. X
04. Dave & Finn
05. Jonathan Goodwin
06. Flakefleet Primary School
07. Mark McMullan
08. 4MG
09. Kojo Anim
10. Libby and Charlie
11. Siobhan Phillips
I'm surprised people still watch this absolute trash!
Chapter 13 have announced a 14+ show in London and pretty much all of the comments are people saying that they're 13 or they can't go because it's on a school night!
I'm dying
Theres gonna be a few nerves back stage at 7 30 .....
is it at the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre ?
wonder why the did nt choose the London Palladium ?
8/11 Colin Thackery
7/1 Dave and Finn
8/1 X
10/1 Ben Hart
14/1 Flakefleet Primary School
25/1 Jonathan Goodwin
33/1 Kojo Anim
50/1 4MG
100/1 Libby and Charlie
100/1 Siobhan Phillips
100/1 Mark McMullan
Colin as short as 1/2. So dull when the winner is so obvious
Colin has said he'll die a happy man if he wins
I've got a slight feeling that X will win, it will probably be Colin though.
Ben ... such a charming... talented guy.......
Ben to win ..... BGT 2019 !
I'd like the young dancers to win but know they won't. They'd gone home and had to practice fort the semi in less time than most of the others. Come on Libby and Charlie. Both 11 and so light on their feet.
I don't like some remarks on other forums and social media about Colin, saying that at 89 if he does win he may not make the Royal Variety. Awful. He's said to be very fit, strong and alert, just a bit deaf which is nothing and doesn't affect his singing.
There's not a chance the dancers will win, they were alright tho
Rooting for Ben out of the realistic contenders I think!
Dave and Finn still using their story...
Happy they're out of the way first
What the hell was that primary school?
4MG are good at magic, but their presentation isn't great.
Really enjoyed Ben!
What!
Didn't he get to the final? Not sure that should be allowed tbh.
Well he didn't get to the final, but still...
At least he didn't use a story this year.
The army guy is a bit tacky no? Oh I was in the army. Here is current army people while I sing and a shower of poppies.
Diversity to win again
Colin as low as 4/11, looks like he's done it
I think I'll take Colin over X now
Pleased that Ben made it into the top 3!
So we have The Champions coming this Autumn. How similar to the US one will it be?
Very happy for Ben coming in the top 3! I hope I'll be able to see a show of his in the future
Ben or X deserved the win - what a shame! I guess a very mediocre winner pretty much sums up the very mediocre series.
I think that Primary School was one of the worst acts to ever make the live shows let alone the final. Utterly diabolical if that's really meant to be the best of British talent

Managed to find this on DS Forums, apparently what Jimmy Tamley said
I actually quite surprised The Haunting was so far behind Flakefleet on the Monday.
Yeah nobody cares Jimmy
I did find it a bit strange that his video before his act was going on about him getting his first puppet, and then he did his mask act
People saying Colin's the worst winner ever. He's looking forward to seeing The Queen but someone should maybe tell him that it probably won't even be her. She doesn't do them now. In 2016 it was Charles & Camilla, 2017 William & Harry and last year, Harry and Meghan.
Queen Elizabeth hasn't attended the Royal Variety Performance since 2012...
I think Jai McDowall is the worst winner they've had (or the most boring at least)
As per the norm I'm still way behind & catching up (currently finished Semi 2). I've still somehow avoided the final result so far!
But I feel the need to this off my chest. All of the 4 finalists so far are really, really bad. Like how on earth that female Peter Kay can be deemed more talented than a fantastic opera singer & 2 guys who literally BALANCED ON TOP OF SWORDS IN THEIR MOUTHS! Drop me out, seriously.
All the magic acts suck really bad. It's so painfully obvious the judges are in on it. The only good one so far was the guy who made the egg appear, that was actually really cool.
Finally got round to finishing!
Colin was a decent winner, I feel like in any other year X would have taken it but all the story with Colin and wanting to sing for the Queen got people in. He'll be remembered more than Jai and Collabro at least.
I think the Judges definitely made the right call with the wildcard this year, whilst I would have loved to have seen John Archer in the final it was only right that Libby and Charlie got it as there wasn't any other dance in the final and all the other 3rd places were magicians. Plus the fact that they were only a backup act in the first place and had to get that routine together in two days.
4MG annoyed me throughout so glad they came last, they seemed to come unstuck with their final performance as well, nothing went 'wrong as per se but they just seemed to constantly be bursting into fits of laughter.
Finally finished watching myself. Definitely screams of 2016 where sporting a military outfit lapped up the votes, pretty sure he wouldn't have won if he'd sang that in a suit & tie. Still, he was at least one of the better acts in an otherwise underwhelming final. My fave was actually the stunt guy despite the fact you couldn't even see him for most of the act! Really gripped me much like the guy who submerged his head in a water box a few years ago. Ben & X (that was a cool twist even if I couldn't remember who it was at first) were both good as well but there was nothing particularly special nor standout about the rest.
And I agree with an earlier comment on here I wonder why Lost Voice Guy didn't get to perform this year as every single series the incumbent champion always gets a slot. The guest slots this year were absolutely ATROCIOUS, why do they get so many musical acts perform? Diversity were the only ones I even moderately enjoyed.
