BuzzJack Music Forum _ Personal Charts _ Chartfridays Personal Chart - 6 September

Posted by: chartfridays Sep 9 2021, 12:00 PM

This week's chart is a bit late - but here in the end.

The big news of the week is ABBA releasing new music, with Don’t Shut Me Down becoming the 3rd single in a row on Chartridays in a row to enter straight a No 1 on release week…. Will that run continue or will we finally see a No 1 last out a couple of weeks with these titans of pop.

Elsewhere there’s some more new entries with Charli XCX’s pop era in full swing opener on a massive banger in Good Ones entering the Top 10 straight from release. Eskimo Callboy get a Chartfridays debut with ‘We Got The Moves’ - the German metalcore/electronicore outfit who just inject fun into their songs and are a nice contrast to some of the far more serious bands in that genre.15 (NE) - Eskimo Callboy - We Got The Moves

Hello! hi.gif

Two great new entries at the top 2 positions there wub.gif I initially preferred Don't Shut Me Down, as you do but I Still Have Faith In You is quickly becoming my favourite of the two.
Good Ones is an absolute bop! I'm so glad to see it here. I'm shocked I like it because aside from 'I Love It' I've never liked a song from her.
It's a shame Talk About isn't climbing here but I'm also assuming you did do a chart before here on Buzzjack so it's probably had its time elsewhere.
Remember is most definitely my favourite Becky song to date. Looks as if the album is bombing though, so I do hope her label gives her the opportunity to release more music. She's definitely a singles artist though so maybe that'll sway them.

Fab chart! happy.gif
