The show was watched by 7.1 million people in the UK, 37% of the people watching television at the time. In Iceland - even though they didn't qualify - a staggering 95% of people watching something were watching Eurovision. Even if as many as 3/4 of the population were watching telly at the time, that would leave a total of about 12,000 people watching something else

Hahaha yeah that's no surprise since Eurovision is absolutely huge in Iceland and a lot of those numbers are probably skewed because most of those watching were watching it in a Eurovision Party as there's an abundance of them in Iceland always when Eurovision comes to a close!
