I’m not sure where it came from but I do remember reading that after Melanie C, Victoria was the most keen to stop Spice Girls activities at that point.

Her best music, NS, BI, The Sea and Melanie C have always come about from just trying to craft a good solid album without the constraints of it must sound like this or that to sell, be included in something or tie in with sometjing else. |

Mel B was just an idiot for releasing at the same time, but you could tell she wanted to be there, at the very least! Directly from the source herself Victoria says it in her autobiography. |
