It's 400,000 since 1994. Sales before that are never included in these certifications.

If we know that it sold 327k prior to 1994 why can’t the OCC just use that data? Do they not have all of the figures pre 1994 or something?

I guess it's a case of "that's just the way it is", regarding why they don't take into account sales data prior to then, for certifications. I suppose drawing sales from more than one database is complicated. I'm sure other posters may have a deeper insight into why this is. |
