Maximo Park have today released new single 'Child Of The Flatlands', their first release since 2018's stand-alone single 'North By North East' - and it could be a lead for their upcoming 7th album, following 2017's 'Risk to Exist' which reached #11.

Yeh don’t know how bbc make these judgements but seem to be radio 6 rather than 2 or 1 in 2021!

Last week the band announced that they'd be heading off on their 'Singular' tour at the end of this year, performing all their singles from 2004 to now. And alongside it came the release of a new one, 'Great Art', which I've been enjoying quite a lot this week!
