I hate critics. The ones I've seen so far are:

Line of Best Fit: 7/10
Clash: 6/10
Irish Times: 5/10

I hate the Guardian and if they rate it anything below 4/5 they will receive dog poo in the mail funky.gif

I've been thinking I might buy this... I need a new CD for the car (Bluetooth doesn't work so well).

I'll probs have a listen first on Amazon and then buy if it's as good as the first three singles.

I dont think this will have much success as Escapism is really only due to tik tok. I'd like to be proven wrong however I just can't see an appeal for her mass market

Did anyone pre-order the album, got a code for tickets and isn't planning on using it please??

Her writing is incredible absolutely sensational. All the songs have great meaning just don't think they are executed in a fantastic way. Worth it I'd lovely however and ice cream man is glorious.

Loving this so far! Also managed to get tickets to se her on Tuesday in Birmingham at the album signing, £10, you get a copy of the album, she signs it and is then doing a performance of songs. Absolute bargain! It's also sold out which is great as I think she's doing 3 in total which will definitely help album sales.

this is great! so cohesive and feels like all the songs are going to be a grower. Really hoping she can snatch the number 1, would be such a moment!!

"Ice Cream Man" is SO powerful heart.gif my other favourites atm are Oscar Winning Tears, Flip a Switch and Body Dysmorphia.

I’m up to ICM now and apart from Black Mascara, Escapism & Ice Cream Man, this album is just washing right over me. Idk why she doesn’t connect with me when she’s someone I should actually be stanning, but it’s just not hitting rn. Maybe it’s my current mood? Idk.

But those 3 I have mentioned are fantastic! We’ll see if I care to go back to it at some point and we’ll see what the rest of the album is like but yeah, it’s just ok for me atm. Everything is obviously meticulously thought out and it’s clearly the album she wanted to make and I will be celebrating her overcoming the label politics (& more!) and making this such a big success.

(Oh since I started writing this, I’ve got further and ‘Environmental Anxiety’ is great!)
