Despite the lengthy goodbye from their spokesperson last year Israel have a new broadcaster and are able to join the party in Lisbon! One again they'll be using the winner of their show 'The Next Star' for Eurovision which is currently ongoing.

Anyone that can mash up TiK ToK and Gangnam Style for the most important performance of her life and make it work to amazing effect certainly deserved the victory! I think she might be too quirky for the Eurovision audience, but it'll all depend on the song of course.

Rumours are buzzing that this is the one - It's apparently an uptempo (yay!) with an ethno/middle eastern style (YAY!) song written specifically for Netta and her vocal looper (yay?) and is about the #metoo campaign (...yay?).
