I so wish the acting challenge was Eastenders vs Corrie, but I assume we're gonna get a soap opera impov challenge or something later on in the series, I'm looking forward to seeing who can nail the acting/performance side of things. I'm expecting Baga for sure and maybe Vinegar being great at this.

Slightly baffled at how Cheryl wasn't bottom 2 with a pretty terrible acting performance and what was easily the worst look on the runway!
Crystal and The Vivienne ran away with the runway for me, Baga undeniably won that challenge "MUCH BETTER" She just has IT, I find myself screaming at her every time she opens her mouth and she just has that presence that owns any scene she's in or conversation she has because she's hilarious. Howling at Sherrie Hewson being a guest judge next week, how random |

Is it not Twiggy as guest judge next week? Also Crystal was tonight’s MVP for me

For someone who's day job is acting I thought Vinegar just played herself, she was definitely lucky to be on Baga's team who carried the whole challenge even if it was a bit bog standard over the top British stereotype, but hey that's what RuPaul will lose her shit over so why wouldn't you do that.
I find the acting challenge episodes the worst usually but again a really strong episode overall, Crystal's look being the absolute highlight. Missed Alan on the judging panel tonight though, Graham was fine but yeah, Alan set the bar quite high last week with his Gothy read. |

The lipsync was really disappointing, Skaredy was just.... Not with it at all and Blu just kept doing that same "seductive" finger lick pose thing in lieu of anything else Blu definitely has a lot more to give though!

Another disappointing lip sync to a great lipsyncworthy song. Was expecting Blu to go but not all that bothered that Skaredy went home even though I loved her runway look. Can't remember the last time that the person with my fav runway look actually went, especially in such an early episode. Baga absolutely stole the show tonight for me but Divina was definitely the runner-up here both challenge-wise and runway-wise.

I'm really anticipating next week even more than this week actually, because it's going to be so different seeing them have to sew a look! I feel like some of the more polished/put together queens will struggle for the first time.

This week's episode was another really good one! I was pleasantly surprised by a lot of the runway looks! Crystal in particular *_*
I love how there's not really been much drama so far either. The Cheryl vs everyone drama ended up being a non event with Cheryl admitting she's putting it on. It was great to see her vunerable side as she currently seems like a bad version of Alyssa Edwards. Hopefully she'll open up a bit more as the competition goes on. Vinegar was a let down this week I thought she would've killed it, but she was just ok for me. Her runway was a bit of a mess as well. I hope she has strong design skills as next week could be difficult for her. The lipsync was underwhelming, but glad Blu stayed. I like how present Ru is this series as well. Granted it's a "fresh" start being the British version of drag race and being quite different in ways. But given his hectic schedule (filming DRUK/AS5/S12) I was expecting him to be a bit distant. |

I love Baga but... that runway look did not meet the brief. Calling it "Laser Minnelli" doesn't really cut it for me. Definitely recycling an existing look.
Divina de Campo was a bit robbed. |

Cheryl is probably my least fave at the moment but it's more because of her hiding behind that US Ru girl personality, I liked seeing her open up a bit more. I agree about the lack of drama, it's refreshing that even though there were issues between Cheryl and others, it didn't loom over the episode and overtake the competition. I'm all for a bit of drama but it was just as good an episode seeing it resolved like that.

The disconnect between the Cheryl Cole/Hole pseudonym and the Essex girl schtick bothers me. To me, it's just not a well-developed character unfortunately.

Cheryl Hole is annoying me the most too, she's copying Alyssa and there's no need. I feel like the UK drag queens should be showcasing UK slang instead of copying what we've seen for years and years on RPDR: US.

I'd find her so much more lovable and funny if she actually was a parody of Cheryl Cole as her drag persona, what I don't undersrand is that she looks like a poundland Courtney Act, acts like a Poundland Alyssa Edwards, and I know that having a pun name doesn't mean you have to be like the namesake, but given she's in that Girls Aloud tribute you'd think she'd at least do a Derrick Barry and look like her.
Apparently she's an amazing performer though so I am confident she'll bring something, she just needs to be herself and show who Cheryl Hole is because I'm seeing none of that. |
