I like it.
But there's just something about this era that isn't clicking for me. Everything from the hooks and the production to the visuals seems a bit obvious and nothing is exciting me like when High By The Beach came out. |

Do y'all think this has a chance of being a hit?
I wouldn't be too shocked, tho I guess it all depends if her labels cares enough to try and make a Lana Del Rey song a hit. They'll need to send radio payola etc. But sure The Weeknd feat should help with streaming - though she is already an ok streaming artist - so it should be interesting to see how this will do. |

I think it'll do really well for her, I'm imagining more than a few weeks top 40!
Although maybe I'm being too optimistic. Like you say though, a few weeks top 40 would be great for her anyway. |

It'll probably peak on album release week, because her albums get really good first week streams. (And there'll be cherry picks on iTunes).
I'm hearing the album is out at the end of May? Do we think she can knock Ed from #1? Her last album only did 30k but there is a lot more support and hype this time round, so she'll open with more than that. I'm thinking around 40k? |
