Top 50 Chart Commentary

It's another week at number one for Kungs vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners with 'This Girl', and after taking its time getting there it's certainly proved itself, staying ontop for three weeks so far. Kungs himself gets another top 100 entry this week with follow-up 'Don't You Know' landing in at #72. It's too early to call how that'll do in the chart but I get the feeling it won't get anywhere near the top.

All this means Croatia Squad are unlucky enough to spend a fifth non-consecutive week at number two with recent BJSC entry 'Make Your Move', which came third-from-last in the final, as announced a few days ago.

In fact, all of the top five this week are non-movers, with Calvin Harris, Alan Walker and Disclosure staying at numbers three through to five.

Following the full release of the English version, Era Istrefi gains a new peak, climbing 30 places to number six on its 19th week in the chart. Impressive.

AlunaGeorge return to the top ten with 'I Remember', which re-peaks at number nine. Mr FijiWiji also enters at number ten with 'Time To Say Goodbye'.

Last week the BJSC entry from Skall, 'Just' from Bicep, entered at number 16. It climbs five places this week to get a new peak.

Another big climb this week comes from Steve Void who with Alex Adair gets 'Burnin' to number 12, from last week's 34.

It was never in any doubt that this week's highest new entry would belong to Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris with new single 'Hype'. It however fails to live up to the hype and misses the top 10, entering at number 13, ten places below 'This Is What You Came For' on its ninth week.

Kent Jones climbs 10 places to enter the top 20, at #16 with 'Don't Mind', currently the #1 urban song. Also entering the top 20 is Alessia Cara 'Wild Things', with help from MK on the remix at #20.

As if Rihanna and Drake haven't slayed enough on this chart already, they get another top 40 hit - together again this time on 'Too Good', which climbs to #28 this week.

The final new entry to the top 40 comes from Olivera. 'Golden Plate' climbs 20 places to #34.

New entries outside the top 40 come from Belly/The Weekend, Christine and the Queens and Paul & Friends, at #41-43 respectively. Re-entering are MØ, Clean Bandit, and Coldplay (following the release of a SeeB remix).
