you do realise the entry with the least amount of points is in fact, not the winner but the loser.
not too sure what to expect from my entry, could be anywhere from top 15 to just inside the bottom 10 based on predictions/feeling. hyped for this evening anyhow, loving the presentation, we expect a great show.

Hyped for the results to kick off and for my votes to (I think) be near the start of proceedings for the first time in a very long time.
Not really feeling myself for being in contention for the win like some people are saying but I'm hoping for a good result nonetheless.

Ooh, glad to hear Photobucket images are back! Somehow I didn't notice not seeing that speedometer image for the last few months.

I think some Eurowings flights have wifi but even if I was on one of those aircraft I’d be avoiding it because it’ll cost a small fortune. Nothing is free on a European Budget Airline

So it’s a good start for one of the leaders in the odds as FARC score an 18 from Lex and score well with Rich too and take a (very) early lead as a result. Pupok off to a great start with a maximum score from Rontvia while Utopia also off to a good start on their return to BJSC.

Until last month they had never done it for us but we are now proud to hand our 18 points over to hosts and auto-qualifiers Fljótavík for a second contest in a row with an addictive glitchy entry (with shockingly explicit, if barely audible, lyrics!!) that we liked even more than their last one, both among our very favourite entries of the year so far! This makes FLJ only the second country (after Elëdan in BJSCs 66 & 67) to top our votes in the final twice in a row ;o Just missing out on our top points despite being the longest song in the final AND an instrumental, it's 15 points to #00274E with some perfect vibe music ~ more of this and less of whatever the other stuff you've been sending of late is pls. Then Unovia continue to impress us of late, beating their own best points tally from us again to finish in our medal positions for the first time, picking up 13 points with a hard-hitting dark rock song. Our favourite Unovia entry to date. <3
A pair of songs in the suddenly growing #madeuplanguagebloc get double figure points: 12 points go to the utterly bizarre banger from Trifoski while a blissful bit of almost drum n bass sounding anime soundtrack from Deandria gets 11. Some awesome retro synthpop from Espen gets our 10 points, while 9 points go to the latest desi trash bop from St. Burbia, not quite as good as 'Malang' but we're always gonna love these xx Land of DW get 8 points for an ethnic banger, our other auto-qualifier Cowtermont take our 7 points with another crazy glitchfest and there's some more ethnic dance music representation in our 6 pointer from Břtanikkä.
A banger and a half from South Danaelanda - which actually got better with more listens unlike most of their other recent entries for us! - gets 5 points. Jadakissnia get 4 points with the return of Vendredi Sur Mer and another song just about as good as her first BJSC entry, still loving the whispery vox. Harmonica have their first appearance in our votes for a year and a half with a HAIM-alike grower getting 3 points, Terra Avium claim 2 points with their brony banger and it's a mealworm point to an emotional tune from non-flops Cor Lupus.

So in this section we learn that Séyetana hated the Hushkanukia track! FARC gain a maximum and that’s enough to propel them back to the top of the leaderboard but they’re closely followed by the home nation in second. Terra Avium leap up twenty two places into the top five while previous leaders #00274E take a tumble to sixth. One of the pre-results favourites, Unovia, sneaks into the top 10.

It hasn’t taken long for everyone to move away from the dreaded zero points as there’s 2 for Yehesi here. Florina move off of zero in rather more style as they get a maximum for Altyr. At the top end FARC stay in the lead but they are joined by the epic from Deandria on 52. Unovia continue their charge up to 6th - things are starting to spread out a little bit more but the leaders are definitely still in sight at this stage.

thanks for a great contest! Cor Lupus really are the big highlight here so hope they can get in the top 10 with this. would very much like a FARC win from the supposed contenders too, Alex Mills' voice is just made for dance tracks.
Espen gain significant support from both Rolloland and South Danaelanda and in doing so suddenly stretch out a lead at the top of the table, FARC maintain the threat in second though. Cor Lupus bounce back up to fourth with potentially another good hit for the kings of qualifying after scooping a maximum here.

On my internet sitch: only need to purchase a router which I’m gonna try to do tomorrow to get the best of what Chinese WiFi has to offer, it’s all set up in my apartment otherwise. I should be able to take part in the contests if all goes well on that end, dw, although I shall be a bit less involved until I muster the courage to ship my desktop out here.

More points for the top two here as they appear to be stretching out a little bit of a lead at the top, although with the fluctuation in votes so far who knows whether it will last. Aeroche have been unusually quiet so far this contest but they’ve stealthed their way into the top 10 at this point - another country stealthing upwards are Jadakissnia into the top 10, can they match the hype after all? Pupok also snatching more points here too on their way to inevitable victory.

Two of our biggest contenders are next to vote, FARC do so and manage to avoid too much damage in the process and points from Cor Lupus keep them on track. So halfway through it's looking like the 'obvious' winner is still the favourite indeed - great to see Espen and Cor Lupus still keeping up near the top though! What is happening to Unovia that was such a clear standout but atm it's not looking like it'll even be top 10 (and I was just starting to think it might have been the favourite to win after all... hopefully it'll pick up at least a bit).

Good point for Cor Lupus and Summericia means they halve the gap to the current leaders. Altyr suddenly leap back up in to the top 10 after a max from Florina - will they be able to stay there though as it only seems to take a big score to suddenly leap up a lot of places on the scoreboard. Florina submitted the beautiful MAY and it’s not doing quite as well as it deserved (obvious FLJ bias here) but at least they’ve managed to right the previous wrong when MAY DNQ’d.

GarageBand creations prevail
congratulations to Persephonia who receive our 18 for the first time in two years (the last was in BJSC 88 for Řfdream's 'Thelema') and our first medal position for a year. It feels crazy that it's been that long on both counts. But they've gone and trumped all the other contenders for my gold in what must be one of the strongest finals ever, so that's quite the comeback to our podium. They become the first country to receive four 18s from us, yay. The initial production is so calming and lovely, but then it switches up to more frantic breakcore-esque produx over this. Definitely 'the nature of dying' teas. The two marry together perfectly though and just leaves me wanting more every time, this 18 feels so right <3 Břtanikkä match their previous best for me (last time was for 'Dance While You Shoot' by Noga Erez) with this glorius ethnic instrumental. The constant switch-ups are so thrilling. The nation clearly do ethnic dance well as we totally stanned 'Stanga' a couple of years ago in addition to this. #00274E provide a sensational comeback with 7 minutes of dark pulsating beats that... don't really switch-up much at all tbh but it's okay, those vibes are just everything. Minus like one line in the Kutiman song this is pretty much an instrumental top 3 so slay!! Some other noteworthy points here are that Unovia also receive their joint highest points to date from us (Courtney Barnett also got 12) and somehow this is only the first time we've pointed Thelonia in a final, wut?! That feels crazy but there we go, we got there in the end.there are no tears left to cry now so let's end this on a happy note.

Nothing for FARC here enables Espen to close in, although no single country appears to be able to score consistently enough yet to make the most of any points droughts for the leaders. Terra Avium bounce back into the top 10, so much for the fears of bottom 10! Deandria do just enough damage to themselves to push them out of the top tier to 11th while Jadakissnia just manage to cling on in the top 20.

amazingly the first time in a year I've actually been in Jadakissnia's top 3 I thought if this couldn't do it then maybe I would never manage it again. So the pack were indeed closing in a bit as Espen sneak a point clear at the top thanks to double points here! Just noticed that Séyetana are finally off the bottom, sadly it’s the lovely track from UV that replaces them. Deandria rocket back up to 6th as Cor Lupus and Fljótavík are fading slightly.
Plus Doctor Blind gets bonus points for usage of teal. If he were in the final that would be a better reward.

FARC bounce back! But it’s still close and Utopia and the ever present Summericia are not far behind. New Lexico bounce back up to 4th. Ryan sent me his votes in the semi and clearly hates numbers! He also is probably very disappointed in how many of his faves didn’t qualify given how far down the votes I had to go… the top few are looking like they’re pretty safe now but everything below them is surely in with a real chance of a top 10 finish?

Condolences to Jake, it was a close run thing all the way through. Unovia bounce back up to complete the top three and snatch a bronze medal for the second contest in a row, well done Liam. Espen and New Lexico complete the top 5 as Utopia just drop to sixth. Aeroche do what they do best and snatch a top 10 placing at the death, joining Altyr, Deandria and a very elated Fljótavík who just hold on to the top tier by the skin of their teeth!I’ll just take this chance to say thank you to everyone who confirmed, listened, voted and contributed to BJSC one oh seven. We really hope you’ve enjoyed your stay in Fljótavík, I’d forgotten just how much work it is to host these things but I’m glad I did it, it’s been fun and one of the things that’s sort of aligned over the past month or so to make me feel more involved in the site again. However, it’s now time to head off and instead look forward to potentially setting off to the presumably sunny shores of Summericia for next month - bon voyage all!

Congratulations Rob! I couldn't find room for your song in the final but I'm pretty sure I chucked it a couple of points in the semi so I'm happy enough with that winner. As for my own song, omg at that last minute 13 from Jerick (thank you ) moving me up to 12th but being ONE point off unique 11th and TWO off the top 10 - argh!!! it's a shame to not quite live up to the hype buuuut I definitely cannot begrudge 12th - I'm having such a good year with every finalist being a top 20 hit and I've definitely served some justice for Vendredi sur Mer after she came 28th the first time, yay *.* so pleased to see Unovia, Espen, Deandria and Fljótavík killing it in the top 10 <3 plus Trifoski and Terra Avium being somewhat dark horse top 15s and Persephonia clawing back a top 20 finish *.*

wow @ altyr being the shock top 10! Deserved it tbh. + ginger doing so well was a nice surprise. To think it actually contended at one point! So glad Rep d’Ash made it to the top 20 after all, I told y’all it was too good to flop! A pretty decent position for me and nice to get over 200 again but kinda disappointing after an amazing start and hype and knowing I passed up on a winner

Congrats Roba, doing a Caerfyrddia with getting a new peak of 4th after a long time of rarely ever going top 10, and then winning the whole thing one contest later! 'Try To Fight' was actually my least favourite song in that final top 10 but that just says a lot about how much I liked this final as I still think it's a very solid winner, and of course always here for another debut winner once more! <3
Really happy that Unovia did get a top 3 finish in the end after it was lagging in the bottom half of the scoreboard for so long, so close to being a new rock winner! Absolutely THRILLED at Espen being top 5 as well I'd been thinking it reminded me a bit of 'Malarone' so it's great to see it doing just as well as that did. And speaking of which, Deandria getting another top 10 as well is also fantastic and I wouldn't have predicted that one at all! A well deserved return to the top 10 for Altyr too and yessss for my favourite in the final scraping in there also, plus Trifoski coming really close, I was fearing an Amnesia Scanner esque result for that! Then another top 20 for Thelonia and Harmonica is also pretty fab and top 25 is probably higher than I would have predicted for #00274E! The biggest disappointment here is Land of DW doing so poorly but at least they weren't last...
Yasss for managing to hang onto top 20 in the end (although losing out on 18th on a tiebreak so I've now had 5 each of 17th and 19th but never 18th!!1) despite my late surge coming to a screeching halt with the very tail end of the votes! Officially outperforming all the predix yay. Thanks again for all the votes, especially the two 18s.
Fabulous job with hosting Dandy, sad to have to leave Fljótavík now! The presentation has been completely top notch throughout. <3

So The Delgados finish bottom. Half of their songs are sung by a female singer,Emma Pollock. If I had sent one of those,they might have done better but No Danger is my favourite by them so that's the one I sent. I didn't expect to qualify,so I was just glad to be part of the final.

If it works the same way as Excel you should be able to copy and paste the entire thing into Paint and just upload that as an image, that's how I always upload scoreboards!

Summericia were consistently near the top of my votes in both the semi and the final so I'm very happy for that to be our winner, and yet another first time winner to boot! I'm exceedingly happy with 5th place as well, lowkey enjoying this Top 10 or BUST streak I'm on this decade even if it does mean the pressure's kinda on for next month (but I'm pretty confident my 108 entry can meet the measure) but hey, that's three strong bids for the crown in TBO at the end of the year already!
Rob S, whenever you get in/online to read this, if you're good to host 108 in September then drop one of the mods a line with dates/ect!

really happy with the rest of the top 10 except for Utopia which went over my head, guess it did have wide appeal tho. really happy for Deandria and Aeroche (the latter struggling a lot which is surprising considering they usually slay these contests and the song would have easily been a winner in 2013/14 too!
Also happy for Ojnoj, Jadakissnia, Azure and Cor Lupus being in the top 20 as they were all great (jade's being commiserations) and shame for Rollo being last, wasn't my favourite of theirs but it was still decent for what it is!

For more fun stats, it's also the 7th song to win while only getting maximum points from one voter (we've never had a winner that didn't get any). Awkwardly enough it was FARC who gave it its only 18, oops ;o There weren't any songs that got more than 3 18s in this contest, a seven-way tie between FARC, Unovia, Espen, New Lexico, Altyr Muunilinst, République d'Ashton and #00274E for the most 18s! No wonder it was all so close ~

Delighted to have finished so high, tried not to get my hopes up for a win as I was following, but thought once it got so close Ginger wouldn't win. Thanks to everyone that voted for it, pleased so many like it - though no top votes - must be unusual for a song placed so high. Hopefully I'll be in again next time, maybe with something not as 'cheap'
Pleased with the winner, always good if something you vote for wins, and the other two in the top 3 would've placed in my bottom 10!
Glad the majority of my high pointers did fairly well - though a shame that due to my lack of posting and absence from this for a long time I have no idea who most of the people are I'm giving points to!

Oh my goodness it really did stay tight until the end!! I'm so so happy for Summericia, 'Try To Fight' just sounded like a winner to me - and I can't believe it's over a year old! FARC and Unovia rounding out a brilliant top 3, and I'm thrilled for Ojnoj giving Yonaka their best result in BJSC by far <3
On the downside, sad to see four songs I voted for in the bottom 10 - justice for Jupiterdonia, Holland-Oats, Aelandor and Daehun
I'll gladly take 18th with that nice little points surge at the end, our first top 30 hit in 8 contests!!! No 18s but had a handful of 15s/13s from what I recall, thanks to anyone I hadn't already thanked <3

it shows how much the semis can affect a qualification just by having the fans of a track in the opposite semi, and a wider pool of people who quite like a song in a final versus a lower number who love a song.
I like to think that's why Singerpurear keeps just missing out on the final

So I somehow managed to miss off my own 8 points in the table ( 
) and they should have gone to Terra Avium. Also I managed to award Desbuanda's 12 points to, er, Desbuanda!!! It should have been Deandria who received the maximum. Fortunately neither of these things affect who should have qualified (phew!) and everything in the final remains the same.
It does mean some of you get slightly different finishing positions in the Jungle Semi though, the correct version is linked above.
Oh well, it was so nearly fault free as well!!! But thanks to Bré for spotting these things, your attention to detail is immense!
