Of course! tongue.gif

I'm sure it'll be fine if it's taken directly from your spreadsheet though!

You would think so wouldn't you? However I noticed this morning that at some point my screen shots had begun to omit FSR Rontvia and Lexico's votes and I had to redo them all today - fingers crossed! biggrin.gif

Good evening Fljótavík, this is Ricardo Delta calling with the results of this month's Rontvian televote. We are elated to be back in the final and wish good luck to our representative! We would also like to thank you for hosting a sublime show, a truly gorgeous presentation which we have thoroughly enjoyed.

To start with we'd like to offer our commiserations to Unovia, who finished a very close 16th in our vote and therefore just missed out on scoring. But now here are the 15 wonderful songs that our nation has pointed this month.

18 Points • Pupok • Bip Ling • Ocean Queen
15 Points • Bhangra • Darling • Jimmy
13 Points • Séyetana • Gwenno • Eus Keus?
12 Points • Utopia • Riton & Kah-Lo • Ginger
11 Points • Suedeonia • FUR • If You Know That I'm Lonely
10 Points • New Lexico • Alice Merton • Lash Out
9 Points • FARC • Alex Mills • Stayed Too Long
8 Points • Bøtanikkä • Kutiman • Mix Tel Aviv
7 Points • Terra Avium • Korw • Luna's Moon Dance
6 Points • Summericia • Cathedrals • Try To Fight
5 Points • Azure • Tessa Violet • Crush
4 Points • Cor Lupus • Savoy • Let You Go
3 Points • Thelonia • Fourward • Hope
2 Points • République d'Ashton • Nova Miller • Turn Up The Fire
1 Point • South Danaelanda • Fatum • Mowgli

Thank you and goodnight!

QUOTE
18 - FARC
15 - Harmonica
13 - Cadelicia
12 - Jupiterdonia
11 - Tartford
10 - Summericia
09 - Altyr Muunilinst
08 - Aelandor
07 - Ultraviolenceland
06 - Utopia
05 - Azure
04 - Beaverdonia
03 - Ashton
02 - St. Burbia
01 - Daehun

So it’s a good start for one of the leaders in the odds as FARC score an 18 from Lex and score well with Rich too and take a (very) early lead as a result. Pupok off to a great start with a maximum score from Rontvia while Utopia also off to a good start on their return to BJSC.

No idea how Gwenno is going to do, the predicta was incredibly unindicative, but a high score from Rich is a great start, thanks! It’s 2am here so I’m probably going to sleep now and I’ll see how this turned out in the morning.

Allo, Carellis calling with the Persephonian votes for BJSC 107, sponsored by GarageBand who kindly provided our entry this month, let's hope µ-Ziq isn't flopping too much ~

jump.gif

Until last month they had never done it for us but we are now proud to hand our 18 points over to hosts and auto-qualifiers Fljótavík for a second contest in a row with an addictive glitchy entry (with shockingly explicit, if barely audible, lyrics!!) that we liked even more than their last one, both among our very favourite entries of the year so far! This makes FLJ only the second country (after Elëdan in BJSCs 66 & 67) to top our votes in the final twice in a row ;o Just missing out on our top points despite being the longest song in the final AND an instrumental, it's 15 points to #00274E with some perfect vibe music ~ more of this and less of whatever the other stuff you've been sending of late is pls. Then Unovia continue to impress us of late, beating their own best points tally from us again to finish in our medal positions for the first time, picking up 13 points with a hard-hitting dark rock song. Our favourite Unovia entry to date. <3

A pair of songs in the suddenly growing #madeuplanguagebloc get double figure points: 12 points go to the utterly bizarre banger from Trifoski while a blissful bit of almost drum n bass sounding anime soundtrack from Deandria gets 11. Some awesome retro synthpop from Espen gets our 10 points, while 9 points go to the latest desi trash bop from St. Burbia, not quite as good as 'Malang' but we're always gonna love these xx Land of DW get 8 points for an ethnic banger, our other auto-qualifier Cowtermont take our 7 points with another crazy glitchfest and there's some more ethnic dance music representation in our 6 pointer from Bøtanikkä.

A banger and a half from South Danaelanda - which actually got better with more listens unlike most of their other recent entries for us! - gets 5 points. Jadakissnia get 4 points with the return of Vendredi Sur Mer and another song just about as good as her first BJSC entry, still loving the whispery vox. Harmonica have their first appearance in our votes for a year and a half with a HAIM-alike grower getting 3 points, Terra Avium claim 2 points with their brony banger and it's a mealworm point to an emotional tune from non-flops Cor Lupus.

TL;DR:

18 Fljótavík // Danger - 11h30
15 #00274E // Rival Consoles - Hidden
13 Unovia // Badflower - Ghost

12 Trifoski // Iglooghost - Clear Tamei
11 Deandria // Gabriela Robin - cyberbird
10 Espen // Nouvelle Phénomène - Cruel Game (Vanzetti & Sacco Remix)
9 St. Burbia // Akasa - Thug Ranjha
8 Land of DW // Purebeat - Ederlezi (feat. Dikanda)
7 Cowtermont // 1788-L and 4AM - M U L T I V E R S E
6 Bøtanikkä // Kutiman - Mix Tel Aviv

5 South Danaelanda // Fatum - Mowgli
4 Jadakissnia // Vendredi Sur Mer - Larme À Gauche
3 Harmonica // The Aces - Put It On The Line
2 Terra Avium // Korw - Luna's Moon Dance
1 Cor Lupus // Savoy - Let You Go

Good luck to everyone, let's hope the best song wins as it did last month xx (not counting our own ofc biggrin.gif)

Commiserations:
16th Séyetana // Gwenno - Eus Keus?
17th Altyr Muunilinst // CXLOE - Show You
18th Thelonia // Fourward - Hope
19th Ojnoj // YONAKA - Fired Up
20th Holland-Oats // The Aston Shuffle - Tear It Down

A really good set of commises as nearly none of our favourites DNQed this time (justice for Cumulonimbia tho) - cutting out Séyetana was painful, don't hate us neighbours cry.gif elsewhere that's Altyr's best entry for a long time and Ojnoj's as well, actually liked it more than Andrew W.K. even though we voted for that and not this. Plus also Holland-Oats' best entry to date, keep it up. x

and nothing for Beaverdonia (they were 27th x)

QUOTE
Good evening all, it's lovely to be back. What a wonderful contest this was both aesthetically and musically, feels like everything here should be getting double points. Terra Avium's votes:

18; #00274E – Rival Consoles - Hidden
15; Deandria - Yoko Kanno – Cyberbird
13; Espen - Nouvelle Phénomène -- Cruel Game (Vanzetti & Sacco Remix)
12; Botanikka – Kutiman – Mix Tel Aviv
11; Persephonia - U-Ziq – Hasty Boom Alert
10; Trifoski – Iglooghost – Clear Tamei
09; Jadakissnia – Vendredi sur Mer – Larme á Gauche
08; Land of DW – Purebeat feat. Dikanda - Ederlezi
07; Cowtermont – 1788-L & 4AM – Multiverse
06; Fljotavik – Danger – 11h30
05; Thelonia – Fourward – Hope
04; Utopia – Riton & Kah Lo - Ginger
03; Rolloland – The Delgados – No Danger
02; FSR Rontvia – GoodLuck & Boris Smith – Be Yourself
01; Seyetana – Gwenno – Eus Keus?

Commiserations: South Danaelanda, Aelandor, Summericia, Tartford

The home crowd erupt at this early maximum for Danger and point from Terra Avium too lift us into the top 5. It’s even better news for #00274E as they take the lead thanks to very nearly pulling off a double maximum in this batch of votes. Others doing well from this section are Deandria, Espen, Cowtermont and Bøtanikkä who all score in both sets of votes.

Whoop at voting first cheer.gif

Gutted at the dire odds for Pupok, Bhangra and Suedonia, they're all so good <3

The Ocean Queen instrumental is sublime, it's very ATB, in fact it reminded me of his track Sunburn, minus the steel pans. Hope it avoids bottom five!
