Ill Behaviour is a production written by BAFTA-award winning Sam Bain (Peep Show, Fresh Meat).

Starring Chris Geere (You're The Worst, Waterloo Road), Tom Riley (The Collection, Da Vinci's Demons), Lizzy Caplan (Masters Of Sex, Mean Girls), Jessica Regan (Call The Midwife, Doctors), Christina Chong (24: Live Another Day, Line Of Duty) and John Gordon Sinclair (World War Z, Gregory's Girl).

When Charlie (Tom Riley) is diagnosed with cancer the prognosis is favourable - he's young and healthy, the cancer has been caught early and it's a type which responds well to chemotherapy. However, Charlie is suspicious of drugs and modern medical treatments and decides to refuse chemotherapy in favour of an alternative New Age approach.

His oldest friends Joel (Chris Geere) and Tess (Jessica Regan) fear he's written his own suicide note, so they decide to hold him hostage and administer chemotherapy themselves with the help of Nadia (Lizzy Caplan), an unstable, alcoholic oncologist.

Yes, it sounds odd and, if anything, a bit of a dark route to go down... But I've just watched episode one and it's surprisingly good albeit a little far-fetched. Chris Geere, Tom Riley, Lizzy Caplan and Jessica Regan compliment each other well and there are some pretty funny moments.

There's only 3 episodes so it's worth a watch of an evening or weekend. It's currently on iPlayer with plans to be broadcast on BBC Two later in the year.
