Why the massive rise in streaming for 'Shake It Off' despite its removal from Spotify etc.? unsure.gif Presumably a YouTube boost I guess.

I fail to see how she's ahead of Meghan overall with those split figures as well, unless sales are really lightly weighted... (or unless she's still benefiting from dubious 'aggregate' sales).

I think Taylor's had sales subtracted from Complete My Album for the Digital chart, but for the Hot 100 they don't subtract the sales anymore.

Viral boost to streaming for 'Shake It Off', plus the subtracted sales for complete my album are re-added by Billboard when calculating chart points. This week, we have no idea what those sales are, but they certainly tipped her over the edge.

We just have to remember that digital chart points don't just come from sales released by Soundscan.

Same thing is going to happen to Meghan in January when her album is released laugh.gif

Ariana going top 10 is a shock but well deserved considering it's her best single.

Good debut for Selena, hoping it can go top 10 in the next few weeks.

Yeah sad.gif Dropped 11 places on Hot Digital Songs and is quickly plummeting on airplay, but all things considered it's a ridiculously large drop.

Beg For It is really taking its time to move up! Yay for Little Big Town's second top 40 hit and Walk The Moon's Hot 100 debut wub.gif

Drops like that usually only happen on a song's second week after managing a high debut, based on the relatively short period of time I've been paying attention to the Hot 100.
