yeah the remix has gone viral on tiktok. I like both the viral remix and the original, hope it can be a decent sized hit, its an earworm!

The Jersey club genre at long last getting a hit with this remix.....there has much speculation online for years that Jersey club was gonna become the big new mainstream genre after trap.

Lil Uzi Vert's 'Just Wanna Rock' has already given the genre a hit (not a huge one, but bigger than this has been so far).

Coi's 'No More Parties' deserved to be a way bigger hit than it was. Not really been taken by much of her other stuff I've heard.

Thought this one was decent on first listen but it's already grown on me a fair bit. It still feels a little reliant on the sample (what's new x) and the main hook is kind of whatever but the pre-chorus part is starting to prove pretty infectious too. (Still not listened to the remix, should probably do that some time - it does appear to be the original that's driving its success on streaming anyway though)

The original seems to be being played on Radio 1 rather than the remix which is a little disappointing as the remix is in the Jersey club subgenre which hasn't really been in the charts before. The way she sings 'If You Don't Know now you know' in the original unremixed version I think is a little bit country in a Lil Nas X Old Town Road way!
