The arch-enemy of Luigi and partner of Wario, Waluigi is a tall, lanky, miserable member of the Mario world. He's been made playable in the various sports and spin-off series but has yet to make it big with a game of his own. Little is known about him or his past but his grotesque demeanour isn't the most likeable so it's no surprise that he's out already.

Oops, and his partner in crime falls out too. Literally "bad Mario", Wario is a bad tempered, greedy foe. He made his name in many of the spin off games but came into his own in the zany, wacky minigame series that he headlined - insanely fun for anyone that hasn't given them a chance! He also made starring roles in titles such as Wario World and he's come into his own through them. Not the lightest on his feet, he is pretty hilarious in the Super Smash Bros series, but he's not a first player's choice in these games. A star in his own games, but pretty lacklustre in multi-player or spin off games.

The ICON that is Birdo has dropped out :'( The first appearance of this bow and diamoned BEAUTY was in Super Mario Bros. 2 where she was a menacing for Mario. There have been several Birdo's spotted even though she appears as a standalone in the Kart and other spin off series. Her gender is quite a complicated area and it has been described as: He thinks he is a girl and he spits eggs from his mouth. He'd rather be called “birdetta.” Nintendo going deep into gender politics ~ Buzzjack you have done her a major disservice here
