Ariana Grande could keep hold of the top two singles, with Calvin Harris & Rag'n'Bone Man's Giant looking to challenge following some big promo slots. Expect new entries for Cardi B & Bruno Mars' Please Me, Zedd & Katy Perry's 365 and YUNGBLUD/Halsey/Travis Barker's 11 Minutes
Ariana's thank u next heads for a second week at #1 on the album chart. Avril Lavigne can return to the top 10 with her sixth album Head Above Water, other new releases include Chaka Khan's Hello Happiness, D-Block Europe and Ladytron. Wednesday's BRIT Awards should provide a few boosts also, with the likes of George Ezra, The 1975 and Little Mix performing.

Obviously The Greatest Showman will benefit the most from BRITs with Hugh Jackman performing.
I’m thinking TGS / P!nk and Jorja will benefit the most on albums front. Jorja being least known performer if she does a performance which showcases her voice well I think her album will benefit in a big way and it’ll draw her into a whole new audience who may previously be unaware of her solo material.
Calvin on singles should extend his iTunes lead. P!nks new lead single coming may also enter high if that’s part of her performance.
There'll be a noticeable effect this week too, the performance boosts are very instantaneous on iTunes.
Probably won't be enough for TGS to overtake Ariana this week but it'll have a sales increase.

Yesss bloodline and Zaty *.*
I hope 'Bloodline' sticks, it's by far and away the best thing Ariana has done recently.
Pretty decent for Avril's album too!
OOOH could ASIB return to top 3? 10k would be amazing..
YouTube date miss get bit mass with some songs in wrong place like baby shark
Yes c'mon Options, top 10 on Friday plz!
Looks like Calvin could have a shot at #1 next week due to Wednesdays BRIT effect and I hope Cadet has had a reset and sticks to top 20
where is westlife?
Ooh that’s good for Avril!
I wait find out pinkfong end up as YouTube date keep in top 30
How is Shallow holding up? Has it got a chance of returning to the top 20?
Yes and at the same time that fricking Lost Without You pops up to terrorize top ten every other week, such a shame
^stupid complain number infinite :/ one day karma will get back to you
I can't see Lost Without You avoiding ACR the week after next.
Which is just as well because the next single is coming on 1st March according to Freya herself on Facebook
Looks like another totally unreliable update with too much missing data to really make any conclusions (CamelPhat as high as #23 again, I wish) - interesting that the 2 Ariana songs are still so close together though and 'Giant' really isn't that far behind now as well, I wouldn't be surprised if Calvin ends up climbing to the top spot next week if his BRITs performance gives him a streaming boost. Hope 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' will stay at #1 for this week at least, I'm liking it quite a bit more than '7 rings' now.
Also Drake's mixtape re-release is higher than I thought it'd be considering it barely impacted the Spotify top 200 at all!
Glad to see Cadet is back on SCR as well, hope he'll manage to stay top 20.
'7 rings' is back ahead of 'break up' on YouTube so that could just push it ahead given how close the two are on Spotify and iTunes (hard to tell what's doing better on Apple Music because of multiple versions but I guess they're close there too).
Hope ASIB remains top 3.
Oscars is next week too isn’t it so should get another boost then
It’s now Gagas second longest running top ten album I believe it took over from Born This Way a few weeks ago.
The Fame miles ahead though.
Why are sales for the charity version of LALO contributing towards the original version. Sales for both versions should be separated in that case like with "Lay Me Down" in 2015
That confused me too especially as the new version is credited to Red Hot Chili Pipers feat. Tom Walker, but the OCC do whatever the OCC like because the OCC are the OCC.
Busted down to #65 That's not cool.
Nice to see The Specials holding up around the top 5 for a 3rd week.
Take pinkfong back top 30 by Friday not on arc just Realise On YouTube witch is missing
Is it the latest trend to have song titles all in lower case? I count six on Monday's update (although three are Ariana). I feel like I'm looking at Limewire's top 40 downloads.
LALO needs to die already. Should’ve been left in 2018
Really happy to see picture this get some UK chart success.
Well done to Avril.
Eek at Katy Perry and Zedd not coming for a top 30 debut, truly disastrous start.
I’m hoping that 7 Rings takes #1 this week!
Great to see Avril at #5 too, that was unexpected.
Bon Appetit only debuted at #40 despite instant A list on Radio 1, big capital support and an automatically high place on Hot Hits. 365 has none of those things and is coming to outpeak it. Swish Swish also debuted at 40.
Zedd’s last single took 4 weeks to go top 40, too and ended up being massive.
Let's at least wait a month before calling '365' a flop. Most songs now climb to their peak, there's still a good chance this will be a reasonably big top 10 hit.
I think it’s fairly safe to say that Katy Perry’s name isn’t what it once was and she can’t sell singles off of just her name the way she used to be able to sadly. To have a hit she will have to do what most other artists have to do and wait for airplay to build up and for the song to be moved up high on the playlists.
So that charity track thing didn't even scrape top 100 in the mids oops
Officials chart got back to me about Tom Walker
The charity record with the artist credit “Red Hot Chilli Pipers ft Tom Walker” isl Tom Walker singing a Tom Walker song, but with bagpipes, so this is correctly combined with the original release and appears in the chart as Leave A Light On by Tom Walker
Katy's days of big hits and big album sales have past but she could still achieve moderate success.
Katy just needed to properly disappear for a couple of years. People needed to miss her, she could have come back with a bang then.
The problem is that Katy's not getting any younger, and ageism sadly seems to be a thing with pop music listeners. About mid 30 seems to be the cutoff for pop artists and they're less likely to be playlisted by R1/Capital etc, which is really annoying.
Having said that, Pink's 39 and she's still doing very well.
I think the song just needs to be given a bit more time to take off? The last 3 big hits of Zedd's all took 7-9 weeks to reach their peak positions and debuted at #33/#53/#92 respectively (Stay/The Middle/Starving).
Classic Buzzjack. Ready to call a song that is 5 days old a flop just coz it's off to a slow start. :')
People really need to stop saying something is a "flop" if it's charting until about week 6 or 7 when we know for sure it's not taking off or whatever. In this day and age, songs take ages to take off. Y'all know this and you still wanna dub it a flop as soon as it's been released.

Avril Lavigne sold literally nothing since yesterday?
No, I just forgot to take that out of the copy & paste, she's sold a few hundred since Monday's update.
where are Westlife in wed update?
Thanks in advance!
Avril will probably miss the top 10 then especially with Brits!
Shame its not a bad album for Avril got the perfect blend of old and new Avril, bit strange the physical version only has a solo version of dumb blonde was it a last minute thing by the label to feature Nicki
Is baby shark back
I'm guessing 'needy' by Ariana is now outselling 'bloodline'? The latter was a new entry on Monday while 'needy' vanished from the charts but I know sales were close between the two.
Advice in the top 15 and TAU in the top 30 I just hope Zedd can hang on in the top 40 and Calvin could reclaim #3 by Friday due to tonight’s BRITs and I hope it’s enough to get him #1 next week
lololololol I forgot about the BRITs
looks like it will be george Ezra - shotgun taking that last top 10 spot then?
I imagine it will be Shotgun, as he's been nominated for Best Single for that.
The Brits are supposed to be celebration of the last year in music, they don't always need to perform new material!
They'd have announced Anne Marie if she was performing, it's not particularly special.
Wasn't The Chainsmokers/Coldplay a couple of years ago unannounced?
it has to be something bigger than Anne Marie
Katy/Zedd or Bruno/Cardi maybe?
I hope it’s Zedd & Katy
could also be Ariana maybe?
do people care so much about the brits anymore? this year nominations seem like a joke
especially with Anne Marie nominated for best album
kinda shows that labels can buy brits nominations if they want
No Brit awards album out this year
Take That Odyssey appears to have gained a few valentines sales last weekend taking it to a Top 25 position.
Its chart run is better than i thought it would have managed based on their previous Wonderland chart run.
That special slot has to be either Ariana or Cardi/Bruno doing Please Me, as far as promo goes those are the most probable outcomes
lol @ people thinking Anne-Marie. does she even have any material out to promote other than whatever she’s nominated for?
Apparntly ariana was doing the late late show last night so although she would have time for a flight i wouldnt think she would be energetic enough for a performance
Might also be Sam Smith & Normani
OMG I really really hope it’s Ariana
Shawn Mendes has been spotted in London
Hope he wears only Calvins
Madonna has been spotted in London
Gente de Zona has been spotted in London!
Katy and Zedd aren’t big enough to be billed as a surprise I don’t think. It’ll be Ariana or Cardi/Bruno I reckon.
The Brits haven't actually said there will be a surprise at all though, it's just speculation.
I imagine nothing will happen.
If there is a secret performance tonight, I hope it's someone debuting something new; and not Ariana, Cardi/Bruno, or Zedd/Katy.
Yungblud/Halsey with all of Blink-182
*Adam Wiles
Pink has said she will have a surprise guest performing with her
Could P!nk be a possible for next week? #1 Itunes just needs to hit streaming
It'd have to be high on Hot Hits UK, P!nk doesn't have a huge streaming fanbase (What About Us had a https://kworb.net/spotify/track/0Qh38w01QRXK6KHIv0e3hb.html so I'd expect the new one to perform similarly)
Calvin or P!nk should get #1 next week thanks to the BRITs. Hope one of them gets it
Can't see Pink starting quickly enough on Spotify to enter at no1 and Calvin is too far behind on Spotify to have such an enormous boost although I'd like to be proven wrong on both accounts!
P!nk deserves another #1.
I also hope Calvin gets a chart boost this week and think it would be nice to see Pink in the Top 10
Was surprised Jorja Smith beat Anne Marie and Jess Glynne to the Gong and surprised Lily Allen beat Dua Lipa to a place on the shortlist
I also thought Freya Ridings might have been up for British Breakthrough Act given that at the time of the nominations being announced she had the same number of hits as Tom Walker. I really hope she isn't a one hit wonder

Shame Zedd/Katy might miss out this week.
Great to see there already being a Brits impact for The 1975's album - I wasn't expecting one until next week's chart!
How has 7R overtook BUWYG,IB when the latter has been ahead on both iTunes and Spotify? I wonder if Calvin can reclaim #3 tomorrow and I hope Zedd can hang onto the top 40. Also, boo at Cadet dropping a place since yesterday
Yes keep going Blueface.
Could Avril miss the Top 10? Is she far from #11?
Lot YouTube dater missing this week
To be honest with a lot of data missing, it just feels like a pointless update, break up... will end up at #1 tomorrow.
Actually, '7 rings' is doing https://kworb.net/youtube/insights/uk_daily.html on YouTube so I think the addition of YT will only help '7 rings' remain at #1.
7 rings is only 20K behind on Spotify
but it's ahead on YT and also on iTunes when you combined the separate versions of 7 rings
on Apple there's no way to know, girlfriend is #1 but 7 rings has two versions so might be close combined
Really did expect Take That to improve once again in today's update.
