Still a banger but I feel like I'm really unable to not associate it with the beginning of lockdown and a time where life was really scary and depressing. Whenever I hear this song it just reminds me of Boris's announcement, people panicking, supermarket shelves being empty, cases and death figures flying up etc. Such dark days.
(I know it's nothing to do with the quality of the song but it's just really ruined it for me ) |

I still love the song, I'm sure it would have done even better if it wasn't for the pandemic and the girls could have performed it and made a good video for it!

I love the video! I find the replay value high on it. I really don't get why it's slated so much! Especially after 95% of the half arsed attempts at doing music videos in the early stages of lockdown by other artists. It really feels like some thought went into it, at least.
Also, I get that shadow. But for me it did the opposite. It played as an escapism from it all and the week that this premiered, it kinda made me forget about the pandemic whenever I blasted it out through my headphones on my walk to the shop with the sun blasting... |

Agreed with this. Although I definitely associate the song with the first lockdown, it's kind of in a positive way if that makes sense |

Agreed that it reminds me of lockdown but for good reasons. It was a nice thing for us to have. It helped lift the mood

11/10 moment for me and its the song I consider to be their best single. Loved that we finally got a TV performance on Strictly in December which was just outstanding from all 3 of them. Still play this multiple time a day.

Sometimes I find myself not playing this as much, but when I do play it it's SUCH a rush, so insanely good. I really wish this had gotten the exposure it deserved and the music video it deserved too.
I still get chills from that "era loading" video with the 80s keyboards in the background. |

Omg this was exactly how I felt with it! I remember the sun shining dancing round my house and singing my heart out. Really helped at a scary time! |

I echo your thoughts Jonjo! The beginning of lockdown was definitely a scary time but having the pure pop triple hit of Little Mix, Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga definitely made it a lot more positive and I do look back on this time last year a lot more positively thanks to music. The gorgeous weather also helped.

One of their absolute best!
I echo the sentiments that it provided me with a lot of joy at that horrible and scary time of early first lockdown. This post has been edited by Tawdry Hepburn: 2nd April 2021, 11:09 AM |

Because Heart still spam this; for the first time in their career they have 3 songs in the official AirPlay top 40.

This song still hits hard for me. The pure 80's pop euphoria of it, just incredible. Top tier LM song.
