It seems like all the rumours and polls and everything else is pointing at 'Slumber Party' being the next single. I do believe it's just a matter of time until it's announced, so I have started this thread now, so we as a forum, can collectively debate on whether it'll be a good choice/whether it's what we want or don't want or whatever else.
I will tidy this first post up once there is OFFICIAL confirmation, so it won't look so tacky. But seeing as the 'Glory' thread is well over 50 pages (usually 50 is the cut-off point ) we can speculate the next single in here until then! Not sure how reliable this person on Facebook is, butttttt here is what he wrote... QUOTE So, I was at a Britney club event this past weekend and I met a guy who met Britney at the m&g, and also went to the VMA's ( i saw videos). He apparently has connections with Larry. As i was leaving he goes "by the way the next single is Slumber Party." So, make of that what you will.

Like I said it's just speculation at this point (but I think SP is the most likely option at this point)
but there's also THIS (whether it's real or not, who knows) |

I don't want this. It's not a bad song as such but there are better.

Those would be my top three choices to be honest!

Those three are the BEST choices IMO. We need a top 40 hit at least to ensure future singles.
Slumber Party & Liar were played at the festival I went to this past weekend. Very alternative community. The response to Slumber Party was very surprising. So many knew it! I really think it's the smash waiting to happen along with JLM. |

Slumber Party is definitely the best choice for the second single, especially in the US.
It's got the Hotline Bling-esque tone and it's also very similar sounding to the Post Malone & Justin Bieber track. |

Slumber Party isn't even in my top 5 on the album anymore but I still think it is her best chance of a top 40 / steaming hit. It sounds the most made for radio for reasons Kye and Tyler explained.
I can see why some Britney fans would find JLM boring, but that also sounds like it would do well with today's audience. Though it might need a feature to help break it up a bit and give the song some extra hype. (Even though I'd probably still listen to the original myself). Obviously she'd never get him but a Drake verse would sound so good on JLM. |

Oh Nick, but Just Luv Me is her best song in nine years :') Yes! The fans that are not here for it are also COMPLETELY out of touch with today's taste in music. Which is fine. But, singles are to sell records. Slumber Party and Just Luv Me need to be the next singles. And I also say that as SP is probably only my 6th favorite on the album. |

"A cute video treatment isn't going to save this era. She needs the full enchilada: video, body, face, and an easily accessible, bordering-on-generic bop. Certain album tracks, with eccentricities only fans will appreciate, are not in the cards."
Someone on Popjustice and I totally agree. You have to accept a slightly more basic song if you want a hit for Brit. But it's fine if you just want her to release your fav so that it gets the video treatment. |

Not here for JLM as a 2nd single, it needs to be something more uptempo. Liar or SP would be better choices.
They do need to release something ASAP since Make Me is dead and Glory has pretty much disappeared from every chart in the world This post has been edited by Euphorique: Sep 21 2016, 06:06 PM |

Surely they need to announce a single 2 soon?

Unless they've scrapped the rest of the era, like Britney Jean?

It's official! Do You Wanna Come Over?
Promoted to Spotify as the next single and added by Spotify to their big global playlist "Teen Party". As we all know, Spotify is only adding official singles to their big influential playlists. (Exception: New Music Friday for album tracks if the single has already been released.) Slot 12 - this is a good start! https://open.spotify.com/user/spotify/p ... i0yGPVfmHC PS: Don't tell me we need a video release or a radio adds date. In 2016, it's Spotify playlist adds date! https://open.spotify.com/user/spotify/playl...s4HT3i0yGPVfmHC |

Sorry Nick, but we need video release or radio adds date for it to be "confirmed"!

Random album tracks get added to official playlists all the time Nick!
That would be such a dodgy choice overall and would make it seem like they were being lazy because they already have choreo for it. It was already performed at iHeart and Today Show and didn't spark any interest. |
