3rd. Paparazzi = 21 votes




Welcome Buzzjack to the Final Round of Lady Gaga's least favourite singles poll and finishing in 3rd place with a whopping 21 votes is Paparazzi, which means yet again we have the same final 2 for the 3rd time in a row 'Poker Face' & 'Bad Romance', 2 of Gaga's best & iconic singles. For now I'm gonna talk about 'Paparazzi' which finishes higher than last time (5th place back in 2017) & while the song is fantastic, I wouldn't rank it top 3, but Buzzjack has spoken.

When we look back on the whole of Lady Gaga's creative output over the last decade, "Paparazzi" often gets overshadowed by her more flashier releases. But this mid-tempo song remains a crowning poetic achievement for Gaga as a songwriter and coming after 2 up-tempo smashes this offers a refreshing change of pace with softer vocals that creates a sense of yearning desperation that indicates years of ambition coming to a head. This definitely ranks as one of her most interesting offerings as it shows Gaga at her most revealing & think it was a smart move to release this as the 3rd single for the UK market over 'LoveGame' as lets face it, this is far better and further progressed her superstar status. Of course that killer music video & iconic VMA's performance really helped sell its greatness.


33 votes were cast in the last round with 'Paparazzi' gaining the highest amount of votes since round 3 with 21 votes, while 'Poker Face' gains 8 and finally after 5 rounds of no votes 'Bad Romance' picks up 4, which is the most that its ever picked up.
