I can kind of see where he's coming from, to be fair. He's finished touring now, and they're not exactly promoting 'Steal My Girl', are they? The least he could do is go and see his nephew...

well nobody can really defend that last part because that's just wrong, but I can imagine there'd be a fair few family members who'd want to distance themselves from 1D's fame because it obviously would be very overwhelming and stressing if the fans are all over your home, etc.

There's a difference between distancing yourself from it and not being supportive in the slightest though I guess, it doesn't seem particularly nice in the slightest that his brother's like this. Two sides to every story though I imagine.
