Third album from Tom Odell called Jubilee Road, which was announced on his social media. It's available for pre-order and it will be released on October 12.

Regarding the album, he said the following:
QUOTE
"I wrote this album in a house on a quiet terraced street in East London. The lyrics are inspired by the lives of the friends I made whilst living there. I recorded most the songs in the living room of the house and if I listen back closely, I can still hear the sound of the old man's television shows coming through the walls from next door, the kids from the house opposite playing football in the street below and the sound of my girlfriend's footsteps on the wooden floorboards above. I don't live there anymore, my life has changed somewhat, but I will always remember the time fondly and I hope you enjoy listening to the album as much as I did making it."

I've only recently heard Half As Good As You but wow, what an absolute stunner wub.gif Easily better than If You Wanna Love Somebody for me, which got old quite quickly for me. Alice sounds brilliant on it too wub.gif

Can’t believe the chart run/underperformance of this album so far - it’s for me his best album but seems to have not connected with radio or the general public at all nocheer.gif

boh I totally understand it, I think it's a decent album but nothing amazing, there's a couple of good tracks (Half as Good, If you wanna love somebody) but those are 8/10 at most, there's no 10/10 in there, and the rest is pretty average

I think his debut was fantastic. Another Love is a classic, both lyrically and melodically it's an 11/10 song. And the album had a bunch of great songs too, so overall it was a very good album.
Album 2 was already a bit disappointing for me, but it had a couple of amazing songs, namely Magnetised and Constellations, both tracks a 10/10, Magnetised almost an 11/10, but the rest of the album was no good.

I wish his label paired him up with others to write songs, that would be the incentive to make him step up his game and make. better album next time
