 Welcome to the Conor Maynard rate  You might be wondering why it's happening in the middle of his second era, and the answer to that is that god knows when album 2 is coming so I'm not waiting on the off-chance it happens soon, especially with the awful performance of Talking About and the fact Royalty is looking to do the exact same.POINTS OF NOTE - Rate every song between 1 and 10. - Half marks are allowed but please no 10.5 marks, these will be rounded down to 10. - You MUST rate SECTION A. I've tweaked this a bit based on a suggestion from Ryan that we're gonna try out, let's see if it works!
Anyone who rates MUST give a score to ALL SEVEN SINGLES - one 11 and one -1 are allowed here. It is then OPTIONAL (but recommended) to rate the entire album as well. You are allowed one 11 and one -1 in this section too (they do not have to be the same songs as Section A, it's up to you). Does that make sense? I know I'm terrible at explaining things so please let me know if what I wrote is total bullshit

Yeah, basically this is in response to Heezus's post in the Rate Index. He suggested hosting a Lily singles rate, even though we had a full discography rate for her but I'm fully aware that it is much more difficult for non-fans or casual fans to take part in full discography rates without skewing the results for a select number of tracks, such as the singles - therefore they often don't.
Therefore my aim is to provide a "basic" and "premium" version of a rate so to speak, so non hardcore fans can just rank the singles which they are probably only aware of and by making this happen in a separate section, the results won't be skewed negatively for the singles (as naturally non-fans will rank tracks lower than fans). Then in a separate "premium" section of the rate, the hardcore fans who know every track can then rank every track. Thank you to Joseph for being my guinea pig so I can see if this actually works in practice, and if it does we can roll it out too all future rates to hopefully get more people involved! |
