 Australian indie-pop band Sheppard released the first single from their upcoming debut album 'Bombs Away' earlier this year and it was called 'Geronimo'. It reached #1 in Australia and recently new single artwork and a new music video have both been released ahead of the international release. It is available to pre-order in the UK now with a release date of July 13th, so unfortunately it is unlikely to be a success here as there has been no airplay support but check out the song as it is so catchy and feel-good! |

Actually 'Let Me Down Easy' was the debut single, which I think appears on the album as well. |

Yes I believe it does! Although as far as I'm aware it was also the lead single from their self-titled EP released a couple of years ago so that's why I've called 'Geronimo' the first single from the album as I assume it is the first single they released with the album in mind.

I sent Let Me Down Easy to Unknown Pleasures last year, was surprised to see it become a hit later on and even more shocked how big they've become! It's deserved though. Geronimo and the new single, Something's Better are both fantastic. Very much looking forward to hearing the album!

UK release has been pushed back to January 18th!
 Very surprised they have pushed back the release! (Hopefully it does eventually get support though  )

I'm glad, I can't imagine it would have had much of an impact in mid December, getting pushed down iTunes by ancient Xmas songs.
It does mean that the album has been pushed to February 16th though I need the physical in my life!

Really hope this gets R1 support, I love this. I think that if the release in the UK has been pushed back so much, that'll give it enough time for R1 to at least pick it up and for it to improve in the US. Last time I checked it's doing pretty well there and worldwide too I think
