God dammit. I hate you Anne-Marie.
(there was an error in the question though, it's not a future #1 single xx) |

02) Name a song that is referred to in the chorus of future number 1 single, 2002 by Anne-Marie. POINTLESS: none 1: Baby One More Time - SM351, Theo 2: 99 Problems - 777666jason, Mack, Vibe 2: Oops I Did It Again - CianS, Sam, SamJudd 4: The Next Episode - Cqmerqn, Dobbo, FleetSeb, Liam, LewisGT 7: Bye Bye Bye - Addy, Bjork, Dexton, Harry, Jahq, Sarah, Yorkie3, Zarate 9: Ride Wit Me - Bre, Cameron, Dalek, Dan, GavinD, Jack, Jade, Riser, Pete, TS0301 35: A Little Less Conversation - Paulgilb 35: Days - Suedehead 35: What Would You Do - Jonjo 35: When We Were Young - Dannyboy And Baby One More Time is the lowest scorer for the 2nd round in a row!! Again surprised by that. Also scoring fairly low are that Jay-Z song and the highest scorer from last round, Britney's classic Oops <3 The Next Episode also picks up a few points whereas the big scorers were for the hideous Bye Bye Bye and Ride Wit Me. 2002 is a bop and I'm ready for it to smash even more after it already went top 10 on release week *.* Four wrong answers here for songs I can't find any references online to being referenced to but if you can show me something somewhere that says 2002 references these songs then I will change your score! Of the days when we were young |

Oh I thought about 99 Problems! But I also thought many would consider it as unpopular and therefore go for it!

To be honest I just went for a name of a song I knew from the lyrics so I have no idea if I'm right or wrong, I'm doing so well in this game haha |

03) Name a music video on YouTube that received over 25 million views during its first 24 hours. POINTLESS: none 4: Look What You Made Me Do - Cameron, Jade, Jahq, Sam, TS0301 4: Sua Cara - CianS, Cqmerqn, Dobbo, Jack, Suedehead 9: Hello - Addy, Bjork, Dan, Dannyboy, Dexton, FleetSeb, GavinD, SM351, Theo, Yorkie3 10: Gentleman - 777666jason, Bre, Jonjo, LewisGT, Liam, Mack, Pete, Riser, Sarah, Vibe, Zarate 35: DNA - Harry 35: Gangnam Style - Dalek 35: No Tears Left To Cry - Suedehead 35: Telephone - Paulgilb This was the question with the smallest range of answers as there are only four ever videos that have received 25m+ views on their first day! The biggest and the smallest of those are the smallest scorers here. Best video of all time, aka Look What You Made Me Do, smashed the records with a gigantic 42m views for its iconic video and Sua Cara is a Major Lazer/Anitta/Pabllo Vittar bop that wasn't a hit in the UK but scored just over 25m views on its first day. Hello and Gentleman were both big scorers here and they had 27m and 38m views on their first days respectively. Four wrong answers here again! Dalek went for the wrong Psy song, DNA scored a lot of views for BTS on 1st day but not as much as 25m, Ariana was in the 10-20m range I think and idek how many views Telephone got! |

TBH ‘Days’ and ‘When We Were Young’ could count as the right answers even if they weren’t deliberately namechecked in that horrible song!

Ooh I was almost certain that Taylor was going to be the most popular answer there I just thought I'd go for it to be safe, as it was the only example to come into my head that I knew was definitely right. Yesssssss.

04) Name a song from a movie that has charted in the UK top 20 this decade. POINTLESS: All The Stars (Black Panther) - Addy Club Can't Handle Me (Step Up 3) - GavinD Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead (Wizard Of Oz) - Suedehead Earned It (50 Shades) - Dobbo I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Love Simon) - Jahq Let It Go (Frozen) - Sam Love Me Like You Do (50 Shades) - SM351 Rewrite The Stars (The Greatest Showman) - Cameron See You Again (Fast & Furious) - Mack Shake It Off (Sing) - Vibe Skyfall (Skyfall) - Pete Still Falling For You (Bridget Jones) - Theo The Hanging Tree (Hunger Games) - Paulgilb We Own It (Fast & Furious) - Jade You Don't Own Me (Suicide Squad) - Liam 1: Can't Stop The Feeling (Trolls) - 777666jason, Dexton 1: Heathens (Suicide Squad) - Dannyboy, Yorkie3 1: The Greatest Show (The Greatest Showman) - FleetSeb, Jonjo 1: Writing's On The Wall (Spectre) - Bjork, Zarate 2: Beating Heart (Divergent) - Cqmerqn, Harry, Jack 2: It Will Rain (Twilight) - CianS, Riser, SamJudd 4: Everything Is Awesome (The LEGO Movie) - Bre, Dan, LewisGT, Sarah, TS0301 35: Did My Time (Tomb Raider) - Dalek This was by far the question with the most pointless answers I think, ik I should've restricted this to top 10 or the last few years Pointless answers range from my fave Let It Go (shocked nobody else went for this, also talking of my faves no one went for This Is Me!!), to another fave Love Me Like You Do to the fab Rewrite The Stars and acc I stan nearly all the pointless answers. Liam, Vibe & Jack all got loopholes answers for songs that weren't for a movie but were significantly included in the movies they mentioned & were all on the soundtrack for that movie. Answers picking up points include the fab The Greatest Show, the abomination and Lady Gaga Oscar stealer 'song' and the Ellie fans going for Beating Heart. The highest scoring answer is that LEGO movie lowkey bop/most irritating song of decade contender Everything Is Awesome which I had no clue went anywhere near as high as top 20 until this! (I always thought it sneaked top 40.) The only wrong answer here is from Dalek who goes for a movie song but from the wrong decade! And how could I finish without a plug x In the movies forum we are hosting Ultimate Movie Song and battle rounds 1,2 and 3 are currently up for about an hour more! Rounds 4, 5 and 6 are going up this evening so please head there and vote in them xx |
