ELIMINATED Round 7:

Up managed to get five votes (seemingly out of nowhere) this time around, leading to a final placing of #12. I personally find it to be iconic, cohesive with the song/video, and deserving of a Top 10 placing. Notorious just missed the Top 10, getting four votes and coming in at #11. While it's a fun cover, something about it seems off to me. Maybe Una's awkward pose?

'Up' really should have been higher than 'Notorious'. I like the 'Notorious' cover a lot more than some others, but it's not as pretty as the 'Up' one to these eyes.

What bugs me I think is the background, why is it splitted so badly near their legs? unsure.gif

Also, I'm voting 'Not Giving Up' because if it does deserve to be top 10, it's still a bit sketchy. What is that font anyway? unsure.gif That looks like some ARIAL shit tbh laugh.gif

I voted Forever Is Over because:

1) Why are they dressed like that
2) Why are there leaves
3) Why is it not the true Sats logo
4) Why is the logo pink
5) Why is Rochelle in the middle

But I know what you mean about Not Giving Up. The font basically ruins it and their logo looks cheap as well.

The Wordshaker era has a different logo, that's probably why, look at Ego too! tongue.gif

I voted Not Giving Up but it was between that and Chasing Lights. Forever Is Over, Wordshaker & Disco Love are my faves though.

Wordshaker was the last album cover that continued their colour outfit theme before they ditched it completely, can we all just have a minute of silence </3

To me, it's because they are more unique.

Wordshaker is actually very pretty...It does look more like a really pretty poster/sign than an album cover, I admit.

As for 'Disco Love', it's just fun and different for once.

It would have been boring had it not been their legs, but since it's actually theirs, the fact we don't see their full body is just an interesting move from their side.

I'm an idiot. I meant Forever Is Over and Disco Love, not Wordshaker and Disco Love. I think Wordshaker is worthy of its Top 10 placing!

I like the understated and different approach to Disco Love and the fact that the roller skates fit in well with the theme of the song.

and as for Wordshaker I just think it's beautiful with the dresses and the flowing bits behind them behind the bar.

And in forever is over they all look stunning in a completely different way from normal.

The dresses are nice and the falling leaves are pretty.
