Hopefully the album has one solid folky ballad or something like it.
These Waters still my fave of his. |

single for sure, been added to R1's playlist today, even if it's the most uncommercial thing ever
I'd actually think this is the 1st single, the others were album appetizers, teasers, not proper singles |

I found myself listening to this on repeat last week while I was walking through the villages and hillsides of Ischia and it clicked so much with me, suddenly really appreciating it and Nica Libres at Dusk is absolutely beautiful.

He released another new track last week called "Heave Ho" to commemorate his four sold out dates at the Brixton Academy.
It's not on his YouTube channel but it's another good track from him, I think I prefer it to the three from last September already. I do wonder if he's planning a quick follow up to Noonday Dream with these recent drops? |

those 3 tracks were pretty meh, b-sides at best
Heave Ho is from the album sessions but didn't make the cut overall, very disappointed by all these last songs, in the old days even his b-sides were incredible (i.e. Bones) |

His album was one of the biggest disappointments of last year for me, just didn't go anywhere and was overly boring!

kinda agree but at least it had 2/3 tracks that were amazing with Towing the Line
being one of the best songs of 2018 he's also getting a bad reputation of being difficult when playing live heard the worst stories, in Brussels I think it was, someone requested an old track and he said he was not there to play old songs and he left the stage :/ at another EU gig someone yelled him "boring" and he also left there stage :/ |
