Spotify

Sneaked into the iTunes Top 100 upon release, Majestic does ol' skool garage/house with his new single reflecting on being a kid in the 1990s. Expect a lot of nostalgia in the lyrics *.*

Its weird that it is called 'Raised in The 90s' when production wise its more like early 00s garage than 90s - especially like 2003's True - Jaimeson ft Angel Blu.

I adore this, LOVE all the references it crams in. I'd love it to get a push but couldn't imagine it being a streaming hit so even so it would probably miss the top 40.

I think this track cleverly blends single generation's nostalgia for two different decades: being a kid in the 1990's with Sega, Ninja Turtles etc. and being a young adult at the beginning of 2000's with raves and garage music.

Very catchy and relatable song music.gif
