Howdy, disco citizens Joined: 16 January 2010 Posts: 12,775 User: 10,455	This is a new mockumentary made for BBC NI, which is set in a post-Brexit Ireland where there is a border between Northern Ireland & the ROI, and deals with the rag-tag group of individuals who patrol the border. Local comedy can be hit or miss, but this one could be rather interesting. Plus on a personal note, one of my former colleagues from Queen's Radio is one of the stars. There's a short clip from the first episode that gives a taste of what to expect.

Howdy, disco citizens Joined: 16 January 2010 Posts: 12,775 User: 10,455	It's not as funny as I would like it to be - it appears a lot of it is quasi-improvised ie they're given the scenario then act things out as they go along, but unfortunately none of the performers are really funny enough to keep it going. However, some of the satirical ridiculousness in the scenarios are quite on the nose, and bizarrely plausible.
