Interviewer: Sophie, how do you feel about people comparing your new song to Girls Aloud?
Sophie: Well I'm flattered I suppose. Since my last album was out three years ago they've become the main pop act around and they've made pop music exciting and raised the bar for being creative, both musically and lyrically. But I think there's room for both of us. |

 That was extremely nice from Sophie! When I read the title to this thread, I thought she would be dissing, but she was very sensible by saying that! And she has the authority!

I've never heard Sophie diss anyone before - it's not her style.
And I'm glad someone as creative as her at least see Girls Aloud pop music as being innovtive like I do. And of course - no slagging means people wont have to support 1 or the other and can enjoy both.
