Hopefully I will be up and heading to King's Lynn as planned tomorrow, the rest of the weekend I will have to edit my article for a local church magazine.

Well I am a church enthusiast and therefore I have picked up on some interesting features of the local churches. I am doing a series on the ones in the local group of churches.

Yes, architectural features is what I am referring to. I am looking forward to revisiting the smaller parishes, two of them have been for the most part locked with keyholder information and not everyone goes to get the key, the other one is redundant and only used a couple of times a year.

I like historical buildings as well, I was actually in Freemasons building this evening , all very interesting & a bit Medieval looking with its peculiar high chairs & various symbols ...

Hello. Sorry for my absence but Ive been really busy. 5 years after my dad died I finally decided to clear out his shed. 3 hours I spent in it yesterday and another 2 hours tonight. Ive filled about 10 bags and I think Ive managed to clear about one square foot . I could spend the rest of my life in that shed. Then again, it took him about 40 years to fill it with junk.... So if you wonder where I am, I'll be in the shed....

Aw Jups !!!, that must be quite emotional , was your Dad a hoarder, I throw everything out , even good pairs of shoes, mostly by accident though & then I go crazy looking for them |

Evening
Honestly, don't worry about me and my shed. I'm perfectly ok. It's hard to get emotional about ancient rusty spades. I found this scythe thing tonight. Like something the grim reaper would carry. I drove to the cowp and got rid of a fair bit. I'm going back to the cowp tomorrow with another load of junk. I'm hardly making a dent in his 'collection'... |

It's getting binned. If I find any personal stuff that can stay. But I need to make a clearance.

This tale reminds me of my late grandmother's house. I recall she had items belonging to her mother, 3 aunts, an uncle who died very young, as well as her grandparents and my grandfather as well as my dad and aunt. Most of it was up the loft, but I do remember not being able to unpack and put clothes in cupboards and drawers when we were staying up there. Amusing thing we did find, a box containing nothing but polystyrene. Why that was kept I will never know.
