Anne Hathaway is fab in Rachel Getting Married so yay at her not getting overlooked. I wasn't very keen on the film at all though to be honest. Revolutionary Road - Winslet & Di Caprio (& hopefully Shannon too but not predicting that!) Slumdog Millionaire - Picture, Director, Patel, Script (How have I still not seen this film ) He got in!! Buzzjack acc showing taste Also you need to see Slumdog, its so good <3 Slumdog is also the most nominated film at the 2009 Buzzjack Oscars! |

Oooooh, yay at Shannon making it in. I'm not much of a fan of him at all but he makes SUCH an impact in that film with such little screentime, a great role for sure!
Star Trek - Picture? Didn't expect to see this here! Benjamin Button - Picture & Pitt maybe (surely the latter for sure? but I won't bet on it when shit like Owen Wilson gets in here ) |

The weirdest acting nom since Liam Hemsworth for Hunger Games, let's see if he can pull off the win as well |

Pleased that Brad Pitt made it in, he was so good at acting a whole lifetime convincingly in that film. He should've been more competitive for the win that year in real life in my opinion
The Proposal - Sandra Bullock probably lol... The Reader - Winslet (in lead or supporting idk?) only? |

Yay for the brad pitt nomination for TCCOBB he was the best part of it even if I also liked the lead female I slightly forgot her name (Cate Blanchett maybe I can't remember her name at this moment in time) but she was great too.

And we don't follow the real life Oscars by category frauding Kate in supporting despite us allowing double nominations in categories! Yep it was Cate Blanchett! I'm shocked she didn't get a nom here tbh! |

Yeah, Cate was fantastic in Benjamin Button and definitely overlooked here and at the real awards. I love her too but a bit weird Taraji P Henson got in the same year when Blanchett's role is much more meaty and important to the story (and just a generally better (acted) role in my opinion). The Wrestler - SURELY Rourke & Tomei (two fantastic performances in this film!) Up - Picture, Animated, Voice probably for the guy who plays Carl perhaps? (& director???) |

I'm shocked she didn't get a nom here tbh! I've always agreed with placing Winslet as supporting for the Reader! The kid is definitely the MAIN character imo That Tomei SNUB!! She does vulnerable and confident so well in that film! This site I haven't seen either of those films so no idea really |

Emma Stone is one of the best things about Zombieland so thrilled she got a nom but shame Woody Harrelson didn't get a nom
