Oooooh, yay at Shannon making it in. I'm not much of a fan of him at all but he makes SUCH an impact in that film with such little screentime, a great role for sure!
Star Trek - Picture? Didn't expect to see this here!Benjamin Button - Picture & Pitt maybe (surely the latter for sure? but I won't bet on it when shit like Owen Wilson gets in here )

Pleased that Brad Pitt made it in, he was so good at acting a whole lifetime convincingly in that film. He should've been more competitive for the win that year in real life in my opinion

Yay for the brad pitt nomination for TCCOBB he was the best part of it even if I also liked the lead female I slightly forgot her name (Cate Blanchett maybe I can't remember her name at this moment in time) but she was great too.

I love her too but a bit weird Taraji P Henson got in the same year when Blanchett's role is much more meaty and important to the story (and just a generally better (acted) role in my opinion). The Wrestler - SURELY Rourke & Tomei (two fantastic performances in this film!) Up - Picture, Animated, Voice probably for the guy who plays Carl perhaps? (& director???) |
